Halo has always been competitive
Lol, you used to have to option to choose playlists that werent full of sweaty ranked wannabes. Social playlists no longer exist in infinte. Every match is based on MMR. which means if youre even moderatly good, you will never get a match where you dont have to sweat your nuts off.

You know youāre doing something right when you donāt hear any feedback.
Considering how loud people are about their grievances with Halo Infinite we can tell 343 is doing this very VERY wrong.

6 years and counting yet they couldnāt respect fans enough just to give them something worthy of the name. So much missing and 24 DRM so potentially the game is dead if authentication no longer exists down the line. Yeah thanks 343

I really hate the gameplay now.
It goes from perfect to unplayable within the same match.
When I was playing with geofilter it was smooth as butter all the time.
I guess it depends on the other guys connection and the servers location.
You dont even know if you are hitting the enemy any more.
Having played with geofilter makes the game feel garbage when forced on playing on far away locations.
Sorry but I donāt agree. The multiplayer is not perfect and it literally blocks content thatās been available to me since Halo 1. For me personally I felt betrayed when they lied to us about the progression which was supposed to be just as good as Reach but better. 343i need to be accountable or history is doomed to repeat itself.
Also ignoring the criticism is just as negative since itās counter productive. I can understand when game design can be difficult to make good but the problem is lack of trust with 343i these days.

They should be doing all they can to keep the talent (or lack thereof) that made the game intact too, this refresh of engineers, lead designers and many other positions will just prolong the post game updates that are so important to bring this near dead husk of a game back to at least near full strength.
This is me for sure! I just want there to be more given to us. Community Forge maps have had a great part in the success of Halo Multiplayer over the years and we need that added feature now.
Thereās a reason for the negative feedback the fact that some of the classic weapons are not there and the landis not made for vehicles
I know this thread is primarily about the MP, but I also want to show appreciation for Infiniteās campaign. My ongoing legendary 100% run Iāve been doing is so damn fun. 343 really nailed the vibe and look for Zeta Halo. Itās got that same mystery from the ring in HCE

If itās a āfun gameā then why does the player base continue to drop off?
343 actions are what actually matters. Maybe if they didnāt lie so much and put on a show for new players, things might have been different with the community. I mean they even went to the extent of trying to pass off the new model āneededā to happen to pay for severs.

Yeh the server excuse was annoying. Itās like Iām paying for Xbox Live for their stupid servers despite them poorly handling MCCās servers and I paid for their Infinite campaign aka the base game to support their IP despite them ripping out a big chunk of the game to force a predatory live service model but for some stupid they need more money despite not delivering what was promised. I feel like the trailers were misleading and they lied about the progression system and Iām seriously not sure what to believe from anything that 343i says these days.
Iām deeply worried for the franchise because of lack of trust and how disorganized 343i are and there are people defending the massive population drops like itās somehow acceptable and there are some people straight up lying to defend 343i too and Iām kind of burnt out and I donāt know what to do anymore.

No it isnāt, itās by FAR Infinites best aspect, 1000% supreme to Halo 4 and Halo 5. As fun as Halo 2 and 3 and only less then the best of the best in CE Halo.
