Ok i have had the old xbox for 4 years now trying to juggle and balance how i store games, dlc, apps and all that other stuff. However i have calulated that i will not be able to play halo 4 because of of the 8gbs of memory it uses up… I thought battlefield was bad this just takes the cake. I would like to know why it is so much more than reach. If then i dont have enough memory then i will be forced to play… CALL OF DUTY… Sorry halo fans…
Buy. A. Better. Memory. Storage. Device.
The hard drives are really not that expensive, so I don’t know why you’re complaining.
Get out of your chair and buy a decent hard drive.
i have the old xbox, and i managed to have space/bigger hdd/flash drives (usbs).

The reason for the mandatory 8gb install is because the game has
A. More content than previous Halo games.
B. Better graphics and textures than previous Halo games.
I can’t believe people are still complaining about this.
Would you rather a game that ran with 5 year old graphics and CoD’s 4 hour campaign?
Try and get a 120GB hard drive with a data transfer cable.
Why do you say you’re going to play Call of Duty. Are you trying to spite us or something?
Because we really don’t care what you do in your spare time.
Fact of the matter is Halo 4 is now gold. You will either have to get a new hard drive to support these newer video games or go without.
The Xbox has evolved since it’s release and so have the games that are being developed on it. Companies are putting more assets into the games to sell, sell, sell. This means bigger filesizes. There’s a reason the Hard Drives are getting bigger. At this point, you’re gonna have to upgrade if you want to play future games so I’d just do it and stop complaining. If money is an issue, get a job or if you’re too young, wait for Christmas.
I have no idea, but to play the bigger games you really are going to need a new Hard Drive or an Xbox Upgrade.
you won’t be missed
Delete old data dude.
> I thought battlefield was bad
Oh trust me it will always take up more space than Halo.
the only problem with that is that some of the reviews said it destroyed all thier data. i dont want that to happen to me.
You could also delete other things to make room? You can re-download them all for free.
Yeah isn’t it a 20gb harddrive? Delete other stuff. Anything you don’t play regularly. You can always download it later.
Dude a 60 gig HDD is only $40 now. Original Xbox HDDs got a MAJOR discount when the new 360 came out.
Or just buy a 8 gig USB for $10
Mandatory install? Wait what?
Buying memory isn’t that expensive. You could probably get it for less than the cost of a game.
demos are a killer, i have a elite hard drive (cant remember what it was) and i only had 3gb left, after i deleted 3/4 of my demos i had 75gb left
Ignore. Sorry

No, you can only get up to 16gig per USB on a 360, it will not let you use the entire thing.
