Too much lag, any solutions?

When I play Halo 4, I have little-to-no connection problems. Same goes for Black Ops II and most other games I play online. However, with Halo Reach–and particularly the CE Anniversary playlist–my shots won’t register, opponents will constantly be glitching all over the map, it’ll take extra long to pick up weapons or throw grenades, etc. (you get the idea).

This is unfortunate because CE Anniversary is my favorite thing to play online right now and it gets really frustrating when I get paired up against Mexicans who pull host and lag the entire game. It wouldn’t be so bad if the games only lagged once in a while, but I’d say 9/10 games are borderline unplayable due to lag.

Any solutions or does this happen to everyone?

It is due to the low population in the Anniversary playlists, there aren’t enough players to match you with people with similar skill, connection & language which results in games like you explain :confused:

You could try turning on the search filters before searching, it will increase search times but hopefully find better matches.
