First I just gotta say what a fun game, havent got into a halo on PC since halo.
But whats with all downtime between games?? why cant we select next map/mode after each game?? Rather than being booted back out to menu, then wait,then silly cinematics, then the ‘team’ (who gives a -Yoink!- what ya look like) then finally you can start.
Please when this releases give us an option after the match to select whats next. Or on PC give us a server browser. Just anything too stop the constant booting to main menu after every match. Really making me loose interest in what is a great fun game.

I swear last beta you could hold X to immediately start searching for another match at the end of the last match, but I don’t see that anymore. I have to go back to the menu and hit play again. I see it when you look at Last Match Results, but you’re right, you should be able to press it immediately as the match ends and shows the winning team to start searching again
Didnt play the beta, here’s hoping its something they gonna add back in when its released. Cause right now its so dis-jointed.
Surprised I couldnt find more threads on this, seems like a pretty main feature is missing here.

Yup I agree, also- what is with not being able to customize your weapon/Spartan armor while searching for a match? It’s like 343 Just wants you to sit there and watch the game load like you’re watching grass grow. If it’s going to take 5-6 minutes searching for a new game even on a series x at least let us do something in the menus 
watching grass grow would be more intresting than that little blue bar…

Downtime is there for a couple reasons. Firstly, the game needs to load. Second, most people would rather have to start another match instead of being thrown into an endless loop of matches. Maybe you’d wanna customize, or check your challenges, or invite friends, or check your stats, or use the bathroom. Idk about you but my total downtime between matches is about 1 minute and 30 seconds
Yes it’s normal for just about every online matchmaking game. Call of Duty, Destiny, etc etc. Every game has downtime between matches lmao
it just seems to break the flow, if your in the ‘zone’ (which doesnt happen that often for me) its nice too keep the games flowing. Ive played games in the past where ya get a choice if ya wanna return to menu, or select a the next map too carry on playing.
and no point lmoa’ing I dont play online competitive games, well not since CODMW2. Before then I was a halo nut. And halo back then had dedicated servers for PC.
Its kinda sad then,that this is the norm and its accepted by the majority of players…
