Seriously, is it just me or did they tone this game down to make ANYBODY feel like a King? Im racking up AT LEAST 50 MEDALS A match and trust me, I’m no God at this game.
Is it to appeal to Younger players?
Is it to make people feel accomplished?

All these useless medals and no Shotgun spree’s, laser spree’s, sword spree’s, hammer spree’s, sniper spree’s, sticky spree’s and splatter spree’s. I miss Sunday Driver and vehicular manslaughter

I don’t think any halo prior to 4 gave medals for a generic kill. Only Headshot medals.

I agree some are pretty pointless. Distraction medal is by far my least favorite. I still have no idea when it registers a player as a distraction and honestly the yelling announcer and pop-up is only a distraction to me. Is it suppose to be ironic? lol
Funny how you listed the generic kill as a useless medal yet missed medals such as Comeback kill.
They took out the perfection medal.
They added distraction.
Think about it.
I’ve heard that all these useless medals were used for the ordnance system (is that true?). Either way, they need to rework the system, so it actually rewards the player.
Distraction - Here’s a medal for being clumsy, nearly dying and needing a teammate to save your -Yoink-.
Generic Kill - Here’s a medal just for killing someone, congratulations!
All the medals that were rewarded to you for playing great have been removed, have you noticed that? As UnSeeN V1pEr pointed out: Shotgun sprees, Laser sprees, Sword sprees, Hammer sprees, Sniper sprees, Sticky sprees and Splatter sprees have all been removed. Why? Because those medals are meant for good players who do well in a match, and we can’t have that now can we?! Everyone should be rewarded! Even if it means ruining everything that was fun about Halo…
Medals should be reserved for good players only! These things in Halo 4 are not medals, they’re childish gold stars made for bad players so they can feel good.
