I have friends to play with but if they’re not online I shouldn’t have to suffer people going AFK for a whole game & or leaving.
I’ve dropped 2 ranks due to this, & it seriously lowers my KD when I get spawn killed by 4 guys constantly due to many 1 vs 4 games.
It’s really frustrating when you know you could easily beat most of the guys 1vs1 aswell.
TLDR: Stop leaving games. I have a child I know sometimes you have to do something, but Arena games are short, you should be sufficiently organised to not F over your teammates.
I’ve had problems with this as well, they said they’re going to be very harsh on excessive quitting, though I don’t know what harsh is for them. Hopefully they give them more than just temporary matchmaking bans or rank losses because the people who do it really don’t care.

Since the game just launched there’s a huge surge of players. Keep in mind that punishments affect behavior after some time. Have to wait for the quitters to dislike the consequences more so than playing a match they don’t want to.
Granted I still suck at times but out of the 8 games I’ve played on mp so far, three of my 4 under 1 k/d games were cuz it was 2v4 within 4 minutues of the game. Still prolly would have lost regardless but it was annoying trying to be the bigger player and finish the game while only being able to get one shot off before feeling the wrath of a hailstorm of grenades and sniper shots.

I don’t have the game yet, and all this talk about quitters and AFKers had me worried. I hadn’t considered that most of them may be new players trying the game and not knowing about the banhammer. Thanks, what you said is reassuring.
There will always be quiters. Thats why they added the banhammer, and made it so you cant see the maps or the players before the game. What else do you suggest they do?

Just played a game where the whole team quits less me and one other player. We still had 5min left. Would die as soon as we spawned. Guess I’ll stick to war zone assault.
