A lot of medals for very mundane accomplishments. For example, I don’t think we need a “Scattershot Kill” medal.
I agree, I think H2 and H3 made medals more important. Now you get a medal for standing next to a pole for 5 seconds.

I think Medals are just there to help you understand what people did in a match. Stop over thinking it.
it’s notabout getting “More medals” but it does a much better job of drawing statistics for players who dont get server side numbers. assists. weapon habits, etc.

I don’t see how not wanting a ton of medals popping up on my screen for minor accomplishments is overthinking it. Meanwhile you’re talking about server side statistics and stuff.

Medals don’t pop up on the screen in a distracting manner. they aren’t in the centre of the screen.
I said “For people that don’t get server side statistics”
I.E. “This player did What during the match? he got barely any kills” then you see his medal stats and see that he helped with Dropping shields, assists, vehicle assist. Etc. It shows he actually did something.
Maybe complaining about it isn’t over thinking, perhaps. Under thinking?

Only the Warzone gets that many medals, because it adds to your warzone level during the game.
Arena doesn’t have them. Calm down.
Medals are cool. It gives people things to attain when they get bored. I know that I worked on trying to get some of the sprees just to know that I can do it.

Sorry man, I just think a scattershot medal popping up on my screen is completely unnecessary. Post-game stats I have zero problem with.

Spree medals are great. No problem there.
I wouldn’t mind going back to Halo 2/3 style in terms of medals. Maybe even Reach.

Only the Warzone gets the ‘a lot of medals for very mundane accomplishments’, because as they said ‘every little thing is adding to their req level, allowing for them to buy new weapons, and vehicles’. So, stop acting like a martyr, and take what I said for what I said. Not an attack.

Add to the req level, fine. Just expressing my dislike for the medals popping up on my hud. Wasn’t trying to get you all worked up.
For myself, you could do away with medals altogether. I don’t need them or care. But I always imagine there’s some 10 year old kid who thinks they’re the coolest thing ever. If a butt load of medals make him feel good about himself as a gamer, then I’m all for it.
Agreed. Only necessary medals: Spree medals, and multiple kill medals (Double kill, triple kill, etc.), and MAYBE headshots. At least the ones that pop up in the middle of a match.
medals are in warzone specifically for the purpose of helping the newer players understand what they have done. They have Kill medals for AI and Kill medals for Spartans so the newbs can tell what they have killed, and know when they have killed it.
