Too Many Long Range Weapons

The AR and Sidekick need to be nerfed, I can never leave cover in this game because any time I do I get lasered from across map by these guns.
And most, if not all, weapons are long range precision weapons, even the Shotgun has longer range than it should. The way the guns are balanced has effectively gotten rid of all close range encounters.
The AR is meant to be a mid range weapon not a long range precision weapon, the range should be reduced and headshot damage should be removed.
The Sidekick’s range DEFINITELY needs to be reduced, I lost a long range gunfight to the Sidekick and I was using the BR, think about that, the BATLLE RIFLE.
The Shotgun needs to go back to it’s original function so that the game can have some sense of close range combat again.

In Halo you should be able to walk around the open areas of the map without dying in 2 seconds, but the way guns are balanced in this game encourages camping in cover and long range gun fights, going in the open means death, not fun.

Here are some other big problems I have with the game that I will just quickly list off so this post isn’t too long:
-TTK is too fast, if you get shot first or from behind you’re basically dead, no time to react.
-The unique attributes of certain weapons like the ricochet of the Heatwave do so little damage that it feel pointless, same goes for other weapons that have an “alt fire.”
-No difference between guns that do shield damage and guns that do health damage, they all just do damage.
-Plasma weapons should not do such high health damage, they’re meant to get rid of shields.
-No physics, grenades and explosions don’t knock you back, no grenade jumping, no rocket jumping and no player collision.
-No friendly fire.
-Gravity Hammer doesn’t have gravity.
-Drop wall is useless, just bring back the bubble shield.
-Add more teamwork centric equipment.
-Power ups need to go back to how they originally worked, especially if the game is gonna notify the whole lobby when they spawn.
-Shield effects are ugly, bring back H3 shield effects.
-Plasma grenades are filled with slurp juice.
