Hi folks

So I’ve tried linking my steam account to my Halo Insider so I can get on board for PC Flighting, problem is having got my password wrong a few times yesterday I now cannot register it at all. I’ve tried again this morning, and again recently waiting a total of 24 hours but I still cannot register my steam account.

To be clear, I now remember my steam password and have logged in and out of steam successfully today. So is there a timeframe in which I should avoid trying to register? Or can someone unblock the time gate?

Ok so I managed to solve this by simply logging into my steam account using mobile network instead of my WiFi.

Turns out the issue is steam side and it’s a soft ban of 30 minutes, but must have been some sort of caching bug my end. Switching my WiFi off and using mobile changed my network so that it worked.
