I recently made a new Xbox LIVE account, so I’m going through all the games beating Legendary Campaigns, collecting achievements, and unlocking everything I can. My favorite game of the series, Halo Reach, is the one I’ve focused the most on in the unlocking armor and effects aspect. However, the more I play, the more I realize that there was a lot of content released within the early days that only lasted for so long. For example, you earned the flaming armor effect for playing the beta, but that’s no longer open. Also, there are a few armor pieces that are unlocked via Waypoint, but after the switch to 343 Waypoint has met the demands of Halo 4&5 instead, making it seemingly impossible to claim those pieces if you haven’t already. With that said, does anyone know of any ways to get some of that old content? I also have a code for Recon that I got for buying the game on release that I never used; is there a way to redeem it? I’ve scoured the forums to find the answers, but I couldn’t find anything. If anyone has some solutions or answers that are on another forum, could you drop the link? I’m a completionist and I really want to unlock as much as possible, so I appreciate all the help.
No, its not to late to earn the way point achievements for Reach. But you must unlock them on the 360 and not the xbox one.
If your Recon code is a 25 character XBL code, just redeem it on Xbox.com and you’ll be able to use it after that
Nameplates in Reach are sadly impossible to equip to your account as of the 2012 consolidation update:/
Still not sure what their intentions were behind taking away the communities’ favorite gamemodes and elements of the game away…
This forum title really scared me but I’m really happy to know that I can still get those armor pieces be at Halo Waypoint
You can still get them I got my CQB UA/HUL in June of last year.

download the halo waypoint app on the 360 and go into there. I am sure that someone has an old tutorial up on YouTube
