Is there social CSR? I’ve seen it mentioned on here, and apparently people have viewed it. I was wondering how I would view it myself.
I bought an Xbone and MCC for Grifball, which wasn’t even in the game.
I got Halo 5 to give 343 one last chance, and waited for Grifballs release. From my first game I knew, this time, Grifball was going to be good.
However, I haven’t played in a week, because I literally can’t find a game. I’ve lost less than 10 of close to 100 games, and apparently (apparently) social playlists have CSR. I spent an hour and a half searching a few days ago, not a single game. A couple of other skilled Grifballers I know are having the same issue, where their CSR is apparently too high to find a game.
I know people are playing, because I see lesser skilled players playing Grifball all the time on my friends list.

Far as I know social playlists don’t take any sort of rank into account. Maybe I’m wrong but social playlists like griffball shouldn’t divide people because of ranks or csr or whatever there is unless there’s a real ranked griffball playlist.

No. Social playlists have hidden ranks. 343i decided they didn’t need to actually remove CSR from social playlists, just hide them.
Yes there is almost definitely a CSR attached to the social playlists. I’ve heard lots of people verify. Every playlist in the game is ranked, the social ones just hide it. I started playing BTB right after it became unranked but BEFORE I started playing any other Arena playlist, and it gave me a rank in it.
Mind you the search restrictions might be a little looser for social tho.

Same thing has happened to me and my friends (we rank in the top for GB right now). Aparently social playlists have a hidden ranking system. Until this problem is fixed, finding a match may be difficult.
Also, if you have a team you should play my team sometime, customs are always fun.
Every playlist in Halo 5, even the social ones, use Matchmaking Rating (also known as MMR).
If you win a lot of games, your MMR is going up. In some cases, players MMRs are going so high that finding players of similar MMR becomes difficult, hence the issues of finding players in matchmaking.
You should try and shoot @Brav and @Unyshek a tweet informing them of the issue with your gamertag, they should be able to look into it for you.
can there be a matchmaking where i don’t get stuck with noobs who suck -Yoink- at the game please
it does have a CSR, you just can’t see it.
