So -Yoinking!- what? If you want to make a case of who cares about gameplay more don’t take the side that’ll grind something regardless of how it plays just for how good the stats will make them look to other “winners.”
Granted they’ll still slather themselves in gameplay rhetoric but their thoughtless actions speak much more for what they truly value.

I agree that gameplay is more important than anything but at the same time customization in Halo is always pretty cool. I really doubt that creating weapon skins is honestly going to take up too much development time. It’s just an extra neat addition.

No they dont. Casuals want fast paced gameplay. Thats the core of COD and CE-H2’s success. This is just wasted time that could have been better spent. Its nice but given halos decline post reach they should have put dumb things like this as DLC for later.
If the flaming could please stop that would be wonderful. I’d rather the topic be something along the lines of what you’d like to see as a skin rather than why ones opinion is wrong and why certain forum member is a child. Thanks

In which case, what I’d like to see for the DMR:
Red
Blue
Green
-Yoink!-, Reds (Red with RvB’s Red Team mascot instead of the UNSC eagle)
Suck It, Blues (Blue with RvB’s Blue Team mascot instead of the UNSC eagle)
UNSC (green camo-pattern, prominent UNSC eagle)
ODST (dark gray, flame pattern at the butt, ODST crest instead of the UNSC eagle)
ONI (dark blue, ONI seal instead of the UNSC eagle)
And, because I can:
Rammstein (black, flame pattern from te butt to the middle, Rammstein logo instead of the UNSC eagle)

I think a chrome and white skin, something along the lines of this would look pretty cool, maybe with a few black lines dividing the chrome and white, to give it a bit of an accent.
A red or blue carbon fiber skin would be nice, too.
ok so get out. I am not a casual but seriously if you hate these new ideas so much then go. dont buy the game, no one will miss you and i think that these changes will flush out the Yoinks of the halo community and make it a much better and nicer enviroment to be in so off you go, go ask mommy if you can “haz” halo 4.
