people are saying that anybody who has modded their account is going to get banned tomorrow and that makes me ask the question, how will 343 know who to ban if xbox live cant even detect people that have modded achievments?? it just makes me think that one company can be better then microsoft itself. i just dont understand and im not sure if this is just a rumor because if its not alot of us fotus glitchers will get banned instead of reset
If you have modded or hacked in anyway, I would be scared because your on their hit list at the moment if you have and don’t ask me how the ban system works, I don’t know how it does, all I know is that it works effectively
no just using the fotus glitch and plus the servers granted me some right shoulder pieces (yes just shoulder peices??? idk whats up with that) so im afraid im going to wake up with my acount perma banned 
If you’ve cheated in any way, you deserve to be banned. Play the game fair and be treated fair. Cheat and get punished. Only makes sense.
I’m sorta scarred because I picked up the game at the midnight release and the Halo 4 servers were down much of that day so I unlocked the achievement where you win 20 War Game matches without unlocking the one where you win 5 War Game matches. Still to this day it won’t let me unlock the one where you win 5 matches.
So…you come her asking if you are gonna get banned for doing the armor glitch(which is more of a mod in my eyes because I bet it has to do with something using Modio and adding some sort of property to your account).

idk they banned me from xp for 24 hours for slaughtering afks for multiple games and yea its funny i game my friend hazop forest from when he went on my xbox idk why its infectable like that

im just worried about the fotus because fotus is obtained by giving lots of money to 343 and they might not like that some random who didnt spend a dime recieved it

In GoW 2&3, cheevs, medals, everything can be transferred from one account/GT to the next via a simple glitch. It’s not a mod- it’s done in-game with nothing but the game. However, players can get banned by doing this. On a related note, this glitch is very unlikely to be done accidentally; it takes a fairly specific series of actions.
In op’s case, however, not only does it look like the glitch can be done very easily, but also accidentally. I have a feeling 343 won’t even bother, especially considering that the items in question can be obtained from pretty much anywhere via extra codes.

Where did the OP admit to modding and intentionally glitching?
I’m not too sure about this, because all of the code unlocks are account locked, which means you get the content only for your account once it’s redeemed. I’ve played Halo 4 round my brothers house many times and I have loads of exclusives and this has never happened to him, only the guest of my account can use them (Obviously).

No, he pointed out that it was his experience that cheeve modders in H4 don’t get caught, not that he had modded cheevs and not gotten caught.
I’m on trueachievement.com, and I’ve seen half a dozen people so far who have clearly modded multiple H4 cheevs and have not gotten banned yet. So If I were to say “It looks like cheev modders for H4 don’t get banned”, does that mean I’m a modder? Is that the only possible way I would know what I know? We’ll see just how long they last, though.
In the meantime, work on your comprehension and reasoning skills.
