Xbox game pass gives users a 10% discount on all additional content for the games it provides, but for whatever reason, halo infinite didn’t benefit from this discount until about a week post launch. Is it not fair to say that we deserve to have the money put back into our accounts if we fell prey to this aggressive business practice? (… Especially considering how much of the cosmetics are locked behind the pay wall, and the price range of these ”micro” transactions)
Get in touch with support. Sounds like less of an aggressive business practice and more of an oversight/bug/miscommunication considering the issue was resolved within a week, 6 months ago.

It’s worth noting that most of us were scammed out of 1000 v-bucks on those HCS kits, i though I would be able to use the flaming helmet armor effect with it and I CAN’T GET A REFUND
I dunno if I’d consider this a “scam” as much as it’s just incompatibility within the customization module in general. It’s not just the HCS kits either, it’s all kits and warrants a closer look into how kits work, which if I remember correctly they are being looked at.
It would be a scam if it was suggested somewhere kits were completely compatible with all customization modules, but to my knowledge there isn’t much information surrounding their use or compatibility.
Also “V-bucks” is a Fortnite thing.

I think an argument could be made to further clarify the HCS “kits” were not individual components but rather a single preset. Further clarification could’ve made the kit module itself a little clearer as well, HCS kits aside as it’s a feature that has stirred up some reasonable questions.
A scam implies malicious intent, and it really appears that kits are really just a poorly made feature that could’ve been implemented better. It’s really difficult to connect dots to the implication that 343 added HCS kits just to lock players out using another customization module.
