Toggle for (M rated ish) blood

I would think this could apply to halo like (cod warzone i think) so it would appeal to both T and M audiences

The ESRB doesn’t have a rating system for specific games settings. It’s going to be T or M, not “T unless you change one specific setting”. Thinking about this for only a second it is easy to see how this could get out of hand really quickly. Even if such a setting exists, the game will be rated based on the more mature settings.

Yea it would only be able to convince a very small subset of parent who hate blood in video games enough to keep it from their kids but enjoy them enough to know about such a setting because the ESRB rating would default to rating the more graphic settings available.

I mean if it was painless to add, sure I would support it and Im sure 343 would to but its probably a bit of a pain to be honest.

That would be cool. I’m sure there’s people who prefer either or so a toggle would be nice.

plenty of games have toggles so I see no reason why it cant be possible. However, as mentioned earlier, its presence wont affect the rating the game gets

yeah what i meant was that it could be used as a toggle because some people like the blood n stuff and some dont

Unless they added in in a DLC that was rated M itself
