Not sure if 343i has said anything about this but does anyone know if there will be an option to turn off bloom and recoil?
I would like to be able to turn these things on and off to eliminate randomness in my customs.
I would say that would be a definite No.
no they are implemented and there will be no way to turn them off.
From what I’ve seen there seems to only be a tiny bit of bloom. Nothing to worry about.
Recoil, no. Its on weapons for a reason. And unlike bloom, can actually increase the skill gap of weapons greatly if implemented correctly.
As for bloom, the only weapons that have it are the DMR(way toned down,v making it only harder to use at extremely long ranges), most automatic weapons(which have always had bloom/spread, even since CE) and the magnum(which helps to keep it as more of a secondary weapon than a mini BR/DMR). The sniper rifle arguably has bloom, but its only aesthetic, and in no way effects the accuracy of your shots. Bloom is almost nonexistent in halo 4.
