Todays shop - 7.6.22

So when this new shop dropped, I really wanted the chest piece and utility piece only.
For the rakshasha armor.
If I want them, I need to buy a bundle for much more money than what I would had to pay for only those two items.
This is annoying.
Why can’t they make individual items accesible through individual purchase IN a bundle?
Is it that hard to do?

The chest piece is the only thing I really want and I’m not paying 1,600 credits for it.

I’m pretty satisfied with my Rakshasa right now that I don’t need to dump nearly 2,000 for that one piece:

The only thing I really want is the Hammerhead Coating.

Everything here in the store is predatory. The prices have increased for inherently LESS value, since they’re a worse rarity, and it’s gone from a 1200 up to 1600. 16 dollars is NOT okay. Even 12 is 2 dollars more. Everything here is predatory. Hate the colors? Search for a thread with over 300 posts about color customization

I’m going to take a guess that the increase in price is strickly because this armor core set is way more detailed then the Mark V and VII sets…

Luckily, While I like the one core set ( last one ) I doubt I’ll ever use them over my Mark VII set up.

This is why I don’t like the F2P model. If they really wanted people to pay for this stuff, do it the traditional way.

A game with a $60 price tag with the content you’d expect from a $60 game.

Honesty so ridiculous that we STILL can’t select individual pieces of armor from a bundle to purchase. Like what a horrific system this is. I’m
Not spending $16 just for the one chest piece in a bundle. I would LOVE to spend $2 for it though.

It has been stated that their UI can’t support it.

Crazy one armor set costs more than an entire battle pass…

Can we all agree not to support them through purchases until they bring prices back down - 1600 is ridiculous, and they know it. They’re just pushing our buttons again, with prices creeping back up to when the game was first released.

Please don’t entertain their scheme.

Exactly. It’s incredibly unreasonable. 1.6 times, to be exact. I don’t know who’s incharge of pricing over at 343 - they need to get rid of that team.

The guy that was the loudest voice inside 343i to bring prices down was Jerry Hook.
Whom has left the company as of last week.
And the week after, prices are back up…

I wish we could say yes. But I literally was just ripped apart on Twitter for calling this a horrendous insult. Like this was bull, and people are literally asking for the store to be more like Fortnites.

I honestly hate what that game has done to gaming.

AND THIS^ . WHY IS THIS A FACT? Not a matter of opinion one armor set costs more then a WHOLE battle pass.

I’m honestly scared that we will never see custom coatings and commendations. That the days of earning our armor and showing off our hard work are gone.

That halo, one of the last bastions of classic expression and commendation grind is turning into something that’s just a display of 16 digits and a security code.

Halo 5 started the Teen ESRB ratings, Halo Infinite continued it. So this was obviously planned. 343 WANTS these Fortnite preteens, teenagers and the new adults that grew up playing Fortnite already for obvious reasons(343 want those Fortnite store sale figures). 343 cleary… CLEARLY does not want the old veteran gamers who carried the torch from the old games to now.

The veterans are too familiar with older Halo, we already know what we should be getting, but we aren’t getting it and there is more of us sticking around in Halo Infinite (which is why feedback can be so negative) while the short-attention span gamers who play Fortnite go back to Fortnite… the newer players don’t know what to expect from Halo, so 343 is taking advantage of it. Like most companies do in many different markets.

It’s just a shame 343 chose to do it, when I don’t think they needed to do a F2P model at all… if they had just committed to a story that connected and made sense and actually followed ONE multiplayer design instead of switching every single game, players would learn 343’s game plan. But 343 is so inconsistent, even with an official roadmap out we still don’t have DEFINITIVE releases for certain things.

I hate how right you. I really do. I can’t find a single flaw in that logic and the fact that a company who not only carried halos torch but is also made up now of people who grew up playing halo allowed it to come this far

Here you guys are wondering when the next time you can buy something, and I’m wondering when 343 is going to actually start making a game.

None of us think anything here is worth actually buying. That’s the problem. Focus being put into something so simple and it’s blundered when a good system was already in place.

Time put into all these different ways to gouge the player is what took away from them making a good game.

Well, 343I will obviously prioritize making as much money out of the players since they have basically said they are going for the «broader audience» which are juggling between fortnite and warzone.
So, if they are going to have a shop, I obviously want the shop to be good. And not trash, that’s what they can do atleast.
But even the shop they can’t make good.
It’s really a tragedy.

Translated too… we 343 want your money and we will bend the truth until it breaks in two to get it.

343 the liar! Sorry Business.

I think they’ve bent that many truths they forget what’s been said. Bit like Halo’s story arc!

Im shaking my head more at the fact that this pack is $16. Virtually the exact same amount of content as the pack last week that was only $12.

Honestly none of these packs should be more than $10 in my opinion, they can get away with $12 but $16, is way too much. Did they not learn this lesson when they had $20 bundles? Smh

I think this shop is a very good example what 343I intention really is.
They try to put back the original prices slowly but steadily when the noise of the backlash has gotten smaller.
So, they think no one will notice.
