Warmed up with some Spartan Ops. And it was actually fun. Rescued Switchback using a Warthog with an FRG-wielding Spartan riding shotgun. Then hijacked a wraith and cleaned house.

So into MM I go. I’m JiP’d into a 470-450 game on Ragnarok. We’re winning 950-900 at one point and then we hit a blackscreen. What else is new right? When I get back to playing I am facing the wrong direction at mid where I was holding position with a DMR and am blown up by a magically appearing Banshee. Cool. Select my loadout, respawn … and guess what? H4 gives me the wrong loadout. I’m rolling with a BR/jetpack (Spartan Ops loadout). Retake my spot at mid and we lose 1000-980 in a nutshell because I had opportunities to wipe out kids from a distance but had the wrong gun.

Btw, finished the game 11-3. My tool of destruction? The Mantis Chain Gun. Really, H4? I never stepped foot in a Mantis. lol

Second MM game. JiP’d into a landslide on Exile. 470-100. Yup, instant quit there.

Third MM game. JiP’d back to Exile, different game, but at least I have the right loadout. This excites me, H4 got something right. But my excitement is short lived as I’m smoked by a Rocket Launcher 10 feet from where I spawned. I respawn in a corner by Banshee spawn–I’m blown up by a banshee before I can even move.

And then I just shut off the game, because what’s the point?

I jumped into Spartan Ops and waited and waited and waited for other players. By the time two began to lock in I already quit out and pulled the disc. Watched Smoking Aces 2 on Netflix and came onto Waypoint to discuss Halo 4’s issues.

My Halo 4 day sorta sucked but my Alien CM day looks promising since IGN uploaded a 2 hour feed of actual game play in a Q/A session.

The last time I played I think was Monday. If I recall correctly the final game was on Exile. Blackscreen right off spawn, I never even got to pick my loadout, and of course I had the wrong gear when the game started. So I run to banshee spawn and found the thing upside down, but I HEARD a banshee already. I jump in and it turns out banshee spawned twice. So there’s two of us flying around. 4 or 5 on the other team quit out in about 60 seconds. It was another 2 minutes or so before the game even JiP’d some cannon fodder back in.
