if we dont get the update today i wont expect till after the halo 5 beta. 343 you should be a shame for lying to your halo fans.
How have they lied? They said “Later this week.” not even 2 days ago. its only hump day, there are 4.5 days of the week left…
Please stop spamming the support forums. If you want to have a discussion on release dates of updates, please use the discussion forums. I’m sure there are already a few active topics you can post in
well they lied about 2 teams working on both games and working to correcting around the clock to fix MCC bugs and it soon going on a month since the last update… plus we still dont have the FULL playlists that we suppose to have. and also we all paid full price for this game and it still dont work and they always lacking comutications with the halo fans
How have they lied about having separate teams? I would be very interested to see your proof on that. Any business has separate teams that work on different projects, I don’t know of any company that operates as a giant soup of people. How would you even structure that?
Regardless that it was an update for the beta, they pushed an update out on New Years Day. To me that says that they haven’t had very much time off and have indeed been working through the holidays. Many people in the community have been asking for 343 to take their time and incorporate more fixes.

You have no proof of that. at all.
Besides, 343 is a big company with multiple teams, projects and departments. the reason the updates for MCC are slowing down is because a lot of the issues have been alleviated if they haven’t been fixed entirely, we just went through the holidays, they are probably trying to fit in more things into this update, and the fixes at this stage are the more details knitty-gritty stuff. It may be a little slower because of the beta sure, but do you really expect any company to drop everything else they are doing on other projects and divert all resources into one thing? There is a point of diminishing returns when you have “too many cooks in the kitchen”, so to speak. Plus the people who have been working exclusively on Spartan Strike or Halo 5 multiplayer don’t have any prior knowledge of the coding in MCC. so their talents are best left elsewhere.
And how much communication do you expect them to have? We aren’t children, we don’t need them to get on here literally every day and say “made some more progress on the update today…” over and over.
You people defending 343 are a joke. They hired a bunch of noobs to work on Halo.

Spreading false information is even more of a joke, kindly stop as it is helping no one. I have been critical of 343 as much as anyone else. As I said, if you have proof to back up your claims then please post it and we will hear you out. Until such times, all you are doing is spamming and spreading fud.

dp Apollo qb yet again defending 343 for reasons unknown. For the vast majority of the people who own this game the continued game breaking defects are far having been ‘alleviated’. For the benefit of the Forum Apollo, please tell us why you choose to continually defend them? 343 themselves have stated that resolution to the TMCC bugs is their highest priority yet no update since 22/12…please.
They already updated the Master Chief topic & said the patch won’t be until later this weekend. Everybody play the new Halo 4 playlist, it’s fun, running great, & finding fames for me fast.

1 post up you said this thread was spam so why are you posting in it?
Yeah I doubt the update will be out today I also doubt it will fix anything these “updates” have done very little to improve the game for me I still have to dashboard and relaunch every game if I dare try to play in a party. The only improvements I’ve seen for myself is matchmaking times are sometimes good but you still get moments when you will search for 30+ minutes and find a game to have it get stuck at the creating game session screen.

had trouble finding games in it last night wasn’t sure if it was cause of the games current state or halo 4 less than stellar rep among halo fans

I have been very critical of 343’s TMCC issues. Please show me where i have defended them for “Reasons unknown”. They released an unfinished product, period. and they need to fix it. Most of my posts “Defending” 343 have been about the ridiculous attitudes that people have in this forum and how they try to pass off their stupid assumptions as facts and otherwise act like entitled children. Calling for a class action lawsuit? Calling 343 liars when you have NO evidence to back that up? Just because they -Yoinked!- up the release and you’re all pissed about it doesn’t mean those things being said are reasonable. Get over yourself.
The vast majority of users don’t have ‘Game breaking’ issues. Thats an exaggeration. Campaign still works, matchmaking does work now for me and everybody else i play with, as it does for a lot of other people on this forum. is it still slow? yes, but not nearly as bad as it was. We can get games in just a couple of minutes. it still occasionally splits our party up and occasionally isn’t unlocking achievements, etc. ALL of those problems are MUCH better than they were. I have NEVER said they were perfect.
Also, look up the definition of “alleviated” please. it means to lessen or mitigate a problem, not fix it entirely. I try to say what I mean as accurately as possible. I’m sorry if that means that I use words that you don’t understand. A lot of issues with MCC have been lessened but clearly it still has a ways to go before it is fixed entirely.
This thread was started when 343 were called liars for not releasing an update on a Tuesday when they clearly said it was “on track for later this week.” How is Tuesday later in the week? Its not, which is why i called out General Zod on his poorly-written insult for being a totally unreasonable troll. THAT is the issue that started this ruckus, not other -Yoink- you felt was necessary to try to pull into this.
Lets stay on track here and somebody close this useless thread.
I like playing the games on Easy because it makes me feel like Master Chief.

In the blog post yesterday it said they were on track to deliver it by late weekend or… late saturday or on Sunday to give them extra time to test it.

I really don’t want in enter into a -Yoink!- for tat discussion but your second post made within this thread (and others, evidence to follow should you wish) demonstrates clearly your defensive stance when it comes to negative comments placed against 343. Peoples attitudes towards 343 are fair in that they are disappointed in the product and sometimes this leads to unsubstantiated comments being made. If the TMCC does work so well for you (as you are always so eager to point out) then I fail to understand why you spend so much time on this forum when you could be playing. I will reiterate that unfortunately I still have game breaking defects throughout campaign (to which I have evidence to substantiate this claim saved within my videos) and Multiplayer. As a Halo fan this is why I spend time on this forum in the hope that I will one day read ‘All issues resolved’ within a reasonable time frame which is now anything but, hence my negativity.
I agree that I cannot prove by percentile that the majority of users still have game breaking issues but I suspect having read the vast number on negative posts on this forum relating to this that this should be evidence enough to convince even the highest order of 343 fan boy that the game continues to be (for some) an unplayable mess.

> I really don’t want in enter into a -Yoink!- for tat discussion but your second post made within this thread (and others, evidence to follow should you wish) demonstrates clearly your defensive stance when it comes to negative comments placed against 343. I am not defensive of legitimate complaints of 343. Of which i have made many myself. I also don’t say that 343 doesn’t deserve criticism. What I say is that acting like a jerk doesn’t get us anywhere. It doesnt bring legitimacy to your argument and its less likely to be taken seriously by the folks at 343 and other people in these forums. Peoples attitudes towards 343 are fair in that they are disappointed in the product and sometimes this leads to unsubstantiated comments being made. If unsubstantiated comments are being made, how is that fair or reasonable? Its not WHAT people say that I object to most of the time, its HOW they say it. A fine but very important distinction. If the TMCC does work so well for you (as you are always so eager to point out) then I fail to understand why you spend so much time on this forum when you could be playing. Yet again, i have never said that its perfect and doesn’t need work. it totally needs work, but its working well enough that i have fun playing it, which is the goal. I spend time on this forum because we need some reasonable people to voice their opinions here so its not all just people -Yoinking!- and whining. I spend time here because i am invested in this series and i want it to prosper and will help in any way I can. And I spend time here because its been slow at work… I will reiterate that unfortunately I still have game breaking defects throughout campaign (to which I have evidence to substantiate this claim saved within my videos) and Multiplayer. I think our definitions of “Game Breaking” must be different. Starting me at the beginning of the level instead of the last checkpoint and not unlocking some achievements aren’t “Game Breaking” (to me) just annoying. Halo 4 campaign crashed on me a couple times between levels, so i just restarted the next level and didn’t lose any progress. again, just annoying. As a Halo fan this is why I spend time on this forum in the hope that I will one day read ‘All issues resolved’ within a reasonable time frame which is now anything but, hence my negativity. Fine with me.
> I agree that I cannot prove by percentile that the majority of users still have game breaking issues but I suspect having read the vast number on negative posts on this forum relating to this that this should be evidence enough to convince even the highest order of 343 fan boy that the game continues to be (for some) an unplayable mess. Again, im not a 343 fanboy. If i was i would think that Halo 4 was awesome and that the beta is already perfect, both of which are very clearly not true. I just have an understanding of the type of behavior that people prefer to listen to.

434 are disgraceful.
