Are you willing to wait a few more months for 343 to finish the co-op campaign and forge, or will you look past it and focus on the single-player campaign and multiplayer mayhem?
I will be playing on day one. I’m more excited for multiplayer than anything but I’ll definitely dip my toes into campaign too. I’m booking the day off work and the wife has already encouraged me too saying she will take care of the dogs and baby that day.
I’m happy to play co-op with my friend after 3 months, heck might even take us longer than that as when we are on we like to play BTB. We are still playing through the Halo 2 campaign because we get on so infrequently together! If the campaign is good I’ll make time for it, if it was meh then I’ll just leave co-op like I did with Halo 5.
Forge I think is one of the best things about Halo, but with so many maps and gametypes to hopefully play at launch I am also happy to wait. When it does come it will breathe new life into the game. Excited to see what is possible in it as H5’s was already very impressive.
Just getting the game over GamePass cause I don’t want to support a company with a number of sale. More people should play the game through the gamepass - if the game is really, really good, I will buy it but as is seems, I will wait 6 months before I buy it “directly”
I’m waiting to see how they actually implement the battle pass. I’m becoming less and less convinced that I want to support this MP model.
I’m also concerned that effort was diverted away from the campaign because it’s only a one-time $60 charge.
I can personally look past those features not being there at launch, so I’m there day one.
Waiting for coop. Hold the fort down for me.
I was never really interested in playing with my friend’s day one, my plan is just to go on do not disturb and play through the whole campaign.

We already know how it’s going to be implemented. You buy the battle pass in each season and that battle pass never expires like in MCC. Now if your referring to content on the BP then it will be much the same as MCC except with a lot of different extra components etc for armors.
Concerned about what other issues the game may have on launch if staple features like co-op and Forge are missing, so I’m holding out for a few months to avoid a potentially huge letdown on day 1.
I’m definitely playing when the game drops. I still love Halo and the multiplayer should be a blast.
I am disappointed that I won’t be able to play coop with my brother like we always have since we were little kids, but I am still ridiculously excited to play on day 1. We can have an awesome time playing together when the feature is ready, but we are ready to play this game one way or another.
day 1, for me co-op+forge is nothing. So I got lucky in terms of I am not the person losing out.
Although technically neither are those co-op people, you can still play the game just on your own.

Already preordered mine. I realize the game is free from game pass… but…. What if Microsoft takes the game off of gamepass? At least I’ll still be able to play it online because I own it. And don’t assume it wo t ever be taken off. Other games, popular ones, have been rotated out before.

Hardly an issue , if it’s removed after a time period you’ve been able to value test the campaign to know whether it’s actually worth purchasing . Regardless of which the mp is available to all as a ftp model
if they were to remove infinite or if it is a garbage title i will drop gamepass quickly after as own most of my titles I frequently play anyway .
I’m not going to wait for co op or forge. I’d rather just play the game at this point.
I barely use forge & I can play co op when it’s added in, no big deal.
