Okay so majority of game developers use twitter to hear the fans.
Has anyone tried tweeting them about Halo 4? About your thoughts about it?
Furthermore folks, I believe the official tweet page is https://twitter.com/HaloWaypoint.
I personally do not fond Twitter at all, but you gotta do what you gotta do to get there attention.
I honestly dont think they care so I never bother
> I honestly dont think they care so I never bother
Yup, that I know as a fact. I wish they were like bioware, who actually cares the fans, and actually notify’s them what’s up from the feedback they are getting.
uh… 343 and their employees use Twitter a lot, actually.
I’ve been watching Total Sellout celebrate New Years all morning!
People have tried tweeting them about concerns, and in return they get pictures of salt or crying kids from what I’ve seen.
Their arrogance is astounding.

Do you have proof of that? I’ve never heard such a thing.

Citation required. And it’s quite easy to link tweets.
If I see something like this then I will personally inquire this best I can. I can put things in a way that is more likely to be heard. I have little patience for unwarranted trolling by developers and gamers alike.
But I’ll need that link.

Neither have I. BSAngel has been answering quite a few tweets from fans as of late, though it was more before they went on vacation. I’m sure that after vacation, they’ll be answering more as they reveal more information for 2013 content.
Here’s one.
He says it was a reference to something else, but I don’t believe it for one second.
The other.
I would, but then again, I don’t really like social networks like Twitter and such.

The only thing is, those links just show the picture. They don’t show what he was replying to. It might’ve been a response to someone being really immature and didn’t deserve an answer.

If this really was done as a response to a complaint about Halo 4 then this should be an example for all Halo players: 343 does not care.
I would be extremely grateful to anyone who could find what this was in response to.
This one looks a bit odd too:

They were in response to complaining on HaloGAF. The tweets themselves weren’t replies to anything from anyone specific. This is off-topic though, so I won’t say anything more.
Have fun defending him though.

Im not sure what the original message to him was, but…
If this was a response to “X mechanic is overpowered, fix it”, its justified.
If this was a response to “I think you need to take a look at X mechanic, heres why…” then that is unacceptable. Especially when his response is a cry baby.
Ive seen pictures of him with his family, and I know he has his personal life to deal with, but that isnt at all a professional way to deal with consumers of your own product.

There is no evidence one way or the other, especially that it is in response to Halo GAF. He posts a lot of pictures on his twitter account. A lot of random pictures, too. Someone probably made that claim to justify how they thought of 343.
I’ve seen that 343 is open to answering questions on Twitter, and that, though they haven’t revealed much, they have confirmed smaller maps and Forge maps in matchmaking early in 2013. I would ask them about balancing and such, but they are on vacation until next week.
Yeah, sorry if it seems like I’m shifting the goal posts but like others have said I’d really like to see these pics used in conversation preferably on Twitter or something similar. Again, Twitter messages that include meta-threads are easy to link. I’d love to see this. I’m not defending anybody; specific claims require specific evidence.
Let the tweet wars start.
No wars, please. We just need links to certain exchanges.
While it may be convienent for developers to use twitter, I don’t get why they can’t take 5-10 minutes to make an educated post on gameplay mechanics or issues instead of answering questions and concerns with a 140 character limit on twitter. Use your dang forums.

Because either:
-
They Don’t Care
-
Its there way or the highway
-
Lack of communication
-
Haven’t had the time (yeah right)
