I bought ONE pack for ten dollars and got three
assualt rifle skins (two were ultra rare, one was rare), I got a legendary helmet, and I got teh 343 industries magnum skin. For 10 DOLLARS! I’m not usually the kind of guy that spends money on games, in fact this is my first pack bought on halo, but this was a GREAT deal. To those people who complained, it’s because you probably didn’t have many other rare skins, so that’s all that you got. I one the other hand had lots of rare skins so I got ultra rare more commenly that rare.
A Legendary helmet that can be easily unlocked from playing the game.

Since I have everything, you just spend 10 dollars on stuff you were likely to get in a random gold pack as you unlocked more REQs. good job.
The individual experience on these has been all over the map. Poor, excellent, everywhere. Glad to hear you are happy with your purchase.
But still they are just skins… You can get ENTIRE games for less that that. I don’t care how rare they say they are. I was dumb enough to buy two packs and said wait why am I buying just cosmetics that I won’t even use or really even care about?

And also the fact that if you spent 70 $ to get all the 14 skins, you actually paid for a complete game … For 14 skins … Wow
I don’t think it a matter of how many things people have unlocked, people just didn’t read the description before they bought it, and those that did read, made assumptions that they were guaranteed certain things that were never guaranteed. I bought a few, and I enjoyed it, don’t regret spending the money one bit, but I also have the disposable income and knew exactly what I was buying and knew exactly what to expect.

That is a crap deal and a waste of money. In previous games you could get 3 maps for that much.
I got all the new skins.

Are 6 of those packs worth the price of the entire game?
I was almost done with golds when I bough a few packs (had some left over credit on paypal). I got lucky as well but it was expected because I had most everything else. I only bought the packs because of the 343 skins that could only be found in those packs. You cant grind to get those, and plus the other skins that were released were not in the game yet to be found in regular packs (im sure they will in the following updates). Dont hate on the OP, he is happy with his purchase. Even if you could buy games for $10, not all of those are worth it. If you really enjoy playing Halo a bunch its just an investment in your time in the game to customize your spartan in the game.
