When you become sr 3 you get the basic battle riffle.
I hear soo many people complaining about not having a dmr.
To please everyone>
I think the easiest solution would be to give the recon dmr in a level up pack between 40-60.
Recon, is the same scope a battle riffle has, and isn’t good for long range.
>>40-60 would make it exclusive to mid to high level players. (Or make one un-common)
First one I got was the bayonet sentinel dmr and could rarely use it till arround sr~70~ when I got a basic req 6 dmr.

Exactly^
There are a couple within silver packs it’s not that hard to obtain.
Unless you buy nothing but gold packs.
(Like too many others do)
I only have the kinetic bolts standard DMR which is the only one I would have used. But it took me so long I feel like to get. Just glad to have one though.

Yeah bud, don’t do that. Waste. There’s no guarantee you’ll get it, you’ll be out 60 bucks, and you will be feeding the worst implementation of Halo history.
I can understand new players not having dmrs but how can anyone who been here since release not got one? Really they are simple to get silver packs so not to much of a grind to get them.

Its not really earned if the entire system is RNG based. You could essentially get it off the first silver/gold pack you buy or your last. That being said I am around SR80 and haven’t gotten one yet. More practice with the BR I guess.
Making sure you have most of your commons/uncommon reqs unlocked goes a long way to unlocking DMRs. I went all the way to about SR 81 with no DMR. I’m at 84 now, and I have 3.
DMR isn’t really that much better than the BR. I hardly ever use a DMR in warzone. i don’t the the problem here . i didn’t get one until level 70. are all of you guys buying bronze, then silvers, then golds? if you didn’t unlock all commons in bronze it will take longer to get a dmr. you should get a DMR (multiple) from silver packs.
to all of you who said they would buy gold packs to get a DMR i feel sorry for you. yes there are ultra rare and legendary DMRs, but you have a better chance unlocking one in silver. don’t go looking for your first DMR in a gold pack, that isn’t a good idea.
as i said i never use it anyway. the BR has incredibly long range compared to other halos, so its not nearly as necessary to long distance… just my opinion i know people love the DMR and it is a shame it takes some people so long to get one. but if you’re looking for it in a gold you’re doing it wrong

The issue is that there are hundreds of uncommon and rare items in the req system AND it seems like the DMRs have less of a chance than other rare items… At least to me.
im level 67 hand have unlocked almost all customization and power weapons that come in silvers. But when it comes to loadout weapons, I’ve made hardly any progress.
I know it’s randomized, but, statistically, it’s baffling that I haven’t gotten a single DMR variant.
Just buy silver packs, there are 6 rare DMRs so you have a good chance of getting one, I have all the rates by doing this and a few of the ultra rare DMRs from REQ packs. Got the basic DMR easy. Don’t buy gold packs
