Halo 4 is a game that is suppose to set the benchmark for things to come in the next Halo’s, so yes I would say its quite bad for a Halo game.

I don’t claim Halo 4 is bad; I played some truly terrible games and Halo is no where near that level. However there are definitely some issues that need to be addressed, such as in game joining and playlist options.

H4 has all sorts of inconsistencies and short falls. Just feels like an incomplete game rather than a bad game. Almost like they rushed it to get it out before Black Ops and in time for Xmas. Im already looking for other games to play for the winter. Very disappointed, and I had mediocre expectations.
Cod Mw3, that regurgitated mess combined with activision’s half -Yoink- responses and fixes to broken game mechanics.
Also Diablo 3, yet another activision game, it was broken and poorly tested in some areas and many patches after patches proved to make it worthless in their mind to make a more challenging experience -.-

You shouldn’t compare it to the other Halo’s except CE since it’s trying to start and do its own thing. The fatal mistake that most everyone on this forum makes.

That game is a disgrace of a game, and puts the original Gamecube version to shame.
On another note Halo 4 isn’t a bad game, it just has some very porely executed additions. It offers less competitive play, but has nothing to fill that competitive gap as of yet.

Yes. Halo 4 is “good,” but nothing more. In time, it will hopefully be patched like a quilt and become “great.” Can’t wait!
Halo 4 didn’t return to it’s roots, it doesn’t have random ordnance, personal ordnance gives you no choice, it took out tons of loved content (weapons, vehicles, playlists, everything!), it has a decent but unfair campaign, and poor system matchmaking.
It needs a lot of work.
