Know that I, and everyone else who plays griffball, hate you. Everyone is using a one hit kill weapon with splash damage with friendly fire on. Stuff is going to happen. Take the death like a man and quit booting people. You’re the cancer of griffball and I wish nothing but the worst for you. You’re wasting everyone’s time who played the game for 10 minutes, racked up a boatload of kills, and then lost it all because you got in the way a few times. People who betray on purpose should be kicked but you getting caught in the crossfire doesn’t warrant a quit. Let’s all just hope that friendly fire is removed from griffball so that this garbage doesn’t continue to happen.
Plus, if you’re booting people for betrayals in Grifball, you obviously haven’t played it before.

If it’s someone who’s purposely betraying then that’s understandable but for someone to ruin a 50+ kill game with a ton of multikills, sprees, and a first strike because because then enjoy walking in front of my hammer then there’s obviously an issue. Either ramp the required betrayals up a ton or remove friendly fire completely.
I played several games and has several betrayals. Thank you team for not booting me.

Then you’re very lucky. If I so much as kill any one of my teammates and the boot prompt happens to pop up then I’m out of the game. Boost wasted and kills gone. It’s complete bs

I haven’t played Grifball in Halo 5 yet, but don’t blame the players, blame 343. It’s their fault you can get booted from Grifball. All past iterations had betrayal booting turned off, why 343 decided to keep it on here is beyond me.
I know in past games, when I was given the option to boot, I’d do it without even reading what it said. All I knew was a prompt came up on my screen and I needed to get it out of my way fast. It’s just automatic for some people. So they might not even be doing it on purpose.

They shall be cut no slack. They weren’t the ones with 50 kills down the drain. Does anyone know if my progress at least still counts towards company commendations? I’ve been playing griffball a lot to get the first strike because that’s what my company is lacking in and if my efforts are going to nothing because someone doesn’t understand how griffball works then there’s yet another issue brought up by the incompetence of some players.
I understand the need to allow boots. Every now and then we’d get a random who did nothing but betray us over and over. Without the boot option it would have sucked.

On a side note, the people who glitch out of the map should stop playing too. There’s nothing fun about doing nothing for 12-15 minutes.

They don’t even always win. They glitch out and it goes into a 3 minute overtime. It’s incredibly annoying playing with those types of people and the worst part is they’re everywhere.
I had 2 games in a row today where i would pick up the ball, but id play the ball patiently… Not just run right in… Teammates didnt like that i guess so they betrayed me… Two games in a row… Wtf.
Same kids betraying me for ball were the ones just throwing it to the goal as if that would give them a score… Even though they were just passing it to the other team
I’ll never get the people who boot indiscriminately. It’s pretty clear when it’s a mistake or when it’s intended.
It happens everywhere, had a good WZ game but accidently splatted two mates and got booted
I feel like I am the only person that has not been kicked while playing grifball. Thanks teammates, you’re the best.
