To those who are satisfied: Please explain why?

I tried to cram too much into a title.

Basically, I know a lot of you are perfectly okay with how Halo 4 was shown today. I’m among those who are not. I’m still willing to give 343 a chance, and I haven’t totally given up hope.

So what’s your reasoning? With all the talk of perks and Loadouts 2.0 along with the return of AAs…How are you not skeptical and freaking out right now? Why are you looking forward to these changes, and not fearful that Halo will turn into Space CoD?

If you were actually informed, you would realise how stupid that highlighted text sounds.

The difference between Call of Duty and Halo is attention to detail. Let’s assume the annoying fans are right, that Call of Duty and Halo share the same feature.

Halo would do the better job 99.99% of the time due to the talented developers that are in both 343i, and Bungie. They’re both companies with passionate people who worry about the community more so than the publisher and check unlike the developers under Activision in the Call of Duty franchise.

Maybe I didn’t really see anything else apart from the trailer, but I am seeing a lot of people disappointed. Can I ask why are you disappointed? Or even happy for that matter for those who are content. The trailer showed so little that I can’t see how a person can be angry of it. How old are you people anyways cause you all sound like spoiled 13 yr old’s, and that include the people who are “sooo happy” with the trailer.

As long as Halo has a great campaign… Halo will never turn into space CoD. I’m perfectly okay with what was shown for the simple fact that it was barely a 4 minute look into what it’s going to end up being. I’m gonna wait till there’s more info. Even with the return of the BR hasn’t gotten me down, and I hate that gun with a passion.

The FAMAS (I mean BR), progressive perk unlock system, point system and loadouts would like to have a word with you.

Hm, well…

I could just be the biggest Halo fanboy ever and don’t care how it plays. If it is Halo, I love it.

Or, I could just be a casual and don’t really care about the roots of Halo and just want something fun.

I don’t know. I loved Halo 1. I loved Halo 2. I still love Halo 3 (it still being online), I love ODST, and I love all the flavors of Reach.

There is always something that distincts Halo from anything else. Well, more than just something. That something will still be there in Halo 4. I feel it.

Ugghhh…not many people hate sprint. That was the only AA shown. Yes they may be introducing perks. Great. But with what we have ACTUALLY SEEN FOR OUR OWN EYES we saw what we all wanted. Shiny Grpahics, New Designs, THE BR, and fresh features, hud, and maps. Not everyone wants a rehashed halo 3, so they added a few new things and people assume its cod…wtf. Stop whining 343 is going with the majority. and when people conduct votes on these forum and 27 people Vote for “Happy With What They Saw” while 4 vote for “We Hate It”. Who do you think they’ll go with???

You should really read all the articles. You might have a better understanding at that point.

Im with Time on this one. If you like COD game play thats great go play COD.

just becouse 343 can make a game that will play like COD and it will better than COD doesn’t mean they should.

Personaly I don’t like any of the new updates. Really spartan 4’s so master chief teams up with a new spartans aka spartan 4’s and they fight in multi player becouse they are in “training” wow thats dumb. leave the halo game play alone don’t go and change the whole dam wheel. add on to guns have to be the one thing that destroyes good games. if halo does this i will done plan and simple.

Halo one was great becouse it was new and there was nothing else like it. To make a game that playes like COD would be a wast of time even if it would sell…

because infinityward invented the famas.

I’ve posted this before, but the word “perk” has only been used by media members, and Frankie has said that when the actual details of the progressive system is revealed, it should calm many people.
As to why I’m excited about Halo 4, the campaign sounds like its going to be amazing, which is honestly what I personally care the most about right now.

There needs to be two Halo 4 forums. One for people that are positive towards the game, and one that is negative. If I negative is posted in the positive, it’ll be moved. I’m sick of seeing pages of people crying like babies after they’ve seen one video, the very same video that starts of by stating “subject to change”.

Because I have no idea how this “perks” system will work. I can’t get fussy over something I know nothing about. I’m looking forward to these changes because it could spice Halo up a bit. Why should I be fearful that it might turn into COD? All because they have an idea from another game? Game developers do it all the time.

Anyways, the reason why I’m satisfied is because I finally got a glimpse of the game. I was also able to see the BR return. Also, a nice little graphic and sound improvements.

Well, believe me I read all the articles at some point of my Halo playing, mostly when Halo 2 was about to come out. Guess what, not amount of moaning ever changed anything in the game at all. Judging by the amount of times you have posted, you are pretty much the “younger” version of me when Halo 2 was coming out, before it came out actually. Listen, I’m going to advise you to just not read SO much into everything that is being released cause your not gonna like it all. The graphics in the end will disappoint you and not others, the simple thing you can do is just wait for the game to come out and just play it and if you don’t like it then stop playing it. No amount of moaning or complaining will change the fact that you WILL play it. Also don’t re-quote me cause I won’t respond, I have said what I wanted to so just live with it because your not going to change a thing.

>Complains about Loadouts, AA’, and anything cod related.

>Kisses 343’s -Yoink- and thinks it’s perfectly ok.

Look if you don’t like it that’s your perspective, but I have a feeling that the people that are bashing the changes now are just looking for something to be wrong with H4.

I personally like the changes. I thought the load-outs in Reach were gona be like they are in H4, but it was just lame. I prefer customization that affects game play over customization that just makes you look cool.

Umm…I think that thing was bungie…it was bungie’s flavor wasn’t it. Thats the reason behind all the fus, we dont know 343i that well yet sooo…

I’m fine with because 1st of all I TRUST 343i and the integrity of Halo.

2nd, from what I’ve seen and heard, the game already looks rock solid, just the little bit of shooting, melee, and movement have a solid and Haloesque tone.

MC in the hog, inspiring compared to the ‘moon buggy’ hog in Reach.

Sprint would’ve been the only AA that I wish was a character trait in H3 and now it is gonna be in H4.

Also, that little team icon makes me think of how there might some kinda of clan warfare going on and/or new type of ranking system that excites me.

WIN WIN WIN …

Right, so he’s saying “Oh no you’ll like this”, but refuses to deny that they are in fact perks?

Reminds me of the saying:
“Oh no, we’re legit, we’ll release in Feburary if we get $100,000 in funding, otherwise we’ll have to wait till August.”
