So I see a lot of people get upset over not wanting a Halo 3 clone. Well guess what, I’m going to use the same argument that you use against us. Don’t like it, don’t play it.
I think most of the people that say they don’t want a classic halo experience came around the reach time and they never go to enjoy the original trilogy.
The funny thing with the “If you want Halo 3 go play it” Is that it can also apply to those wanting Loadouts, perks, sprint, Killstreaks. If you want Perks, Loadouts, Killstreaks and sprint, go play EVERY other FPS released since 2007, you’ll find that many games have joined the “Call of Duty style” bandwagon.
I don’t want a carbon copy of Halo 3, in face change is good if it’s good change. Change for the sake of change, of which doesn’t even work in a game like Halo, is BAD change. They blatantly added these changes with little thought as to how the game would play, in doing so they also REMOVED fundamental elements that made Halo, Halo. I enjoy Call of Duty, I enjoyed Halo, but now I cannot play Halo 4 without feeling that it’s nothing like it used to be. Perks and all that work so much better in CoD, in Halo however, they do not work at all.
I wuld have liked it if they used Halo 3’s mechanics (movement and jumping height) as a basis and redesigned the AA system seperately for both multiplayer and campaign.
As far as I’m concerned I want you to have your classic experience. Mind stepping off and letting me have the game I want as well in return. You want a Scorpion. I want a Scorpion that can transform into a damn Megatron that’s meant to stomp Covenant -Yoink-.
