Dude you have to understand why people are complaining and what the problem is, as well as the fear people have.
Only a vocal minority are complaining about the whole “wtf Spartans armor aesthetic ruined” the general consensus is that Cat Ears Good.
People have been fighting for lower store prices, but this hot new item landed and the purchases were wild. More than half of the players bought it and that’s wack. It’s 10 bucks with a bunch of fluff, but the main purchase was for the Ears.
This actually makes people worried and rightfully so, because we don’t know how the marketing team will treat this little “surge in sales”. If anything, whatever ske7ch has talked through with the marketing team will fall right out the bottom because now they know if they bundle one hot product with a bunch of garbage, they can ship it out for 10 - 20 bucks EZ with little backlash.
If ears alone sold for 4 - 5 bucks, I’ll be celebrating with the rest. But it isn’t being sold alone, it’s still part of the the trash bundle marketing model.
To us who have been fighting for lower store prices, it feels like all our hardwork to get 343 to hear us went right out the window in a few hours. And it’s not even cross core! What the heck!

yes that’s because people spend their time complaining about such an insignificant thing, so the people who like it are far outweighed by people complaining about it because they are too sensitive when it comes to something this insignificant
I don’t even care and I’ve now written 30 posts telling people to stop talking about cat ears 
but people aren’t complaining about the price.
The only complaints I have seen are ‘‘cringe’’ and ‘‘sexual’’ (for some reason people sexualise body parts of cats, idk what that says about them but oh well).
I wouldn’t care if people were complaining that it was too expensive and that people buying it might tilt the market the wrong way, but that’s just not the reality.

it’s just how the internet works, it’s hard to realize who’s serious or who’s joking even with cry laughing emojis since a lot of people are using that regularly as part of their everyday speech

Your right. The cat ears isn’t at fault by itself. We have been moving to Forthalo for some time now but the concept is the same. It always starts with something small
