The failure of the MCC may be part of the reason that H5 sold less. Assuming you’re correct, you didn’t provide any evidence for your claims. Even if you were correct your argument would fall under argument ad populum, and therefore not be valid…

Halo 5 has been out longer too

Even if hes going ad populum it is still embarrassing to see a main halo title lose out to a broken collection of poor ports. Although I could see the correlation between the failures of 4 and MCC and the weak sales in 5.

So here’s the thing, what reason was there to NOT get the MCC when it’s five games in one? That’s a deal if I ever saw one.

Halo 5 is a single game in one, however it is built on the same principles that Bungie practiced.

Same basic formula, with a new twist to keep things fresh.

Halo CE - Halo 2: We gained Dual wielding, vehicle hijacking, a host of new weapons including Covenant variants, and online multiplayer for consoles.

Halo 2 - Halo 3: Slower movement speed, equipment items, forge, armor customization expanded beyond colors.

Halo 3 - Halo Reach: Armor abilities, new weapons and vehicles, faster movement speed, expanded forge abilities, massive amounts of customization, and inclusions into the cinematics, predestinated Loadouts, dual wielding removed.

Halo Reach - Halo 4: Call of duty gameplay, baseline sprint ability, requisition (drops), Custom Loadouts, Weapon pickups removed Halo 4 was by and far the most alienating of the series with its gameplay.

Halo 4 - Halo 5: Armor abilities made standard, weapons returned to the field as pickups, equal starts returned, focus on mobility and verticality, weapon sandbox rebalanced so that one single gun doesn’t so clearly dominate over everything else.

Halo 5 is more in line with the Bungie made games than Halo 4 by and far.
