Want to just quickly apologize if this is the wrong area to post this in.
Have seen a lot of users on here telling other people to leave if they don’t like the game, that they’re not wanted. There was even a thread a while back that even said something along the lines of “I’m glad the community is divided”. And in that thread, the OP stated that he was “glad” that there were many users who were leaving since they didn’t like where the franchise was headed.
For those who are glad to see others leave, and encourage it, and that type of behavior. You’re honestly shooting yourselves in the foot in the long run. Know why? It’s because the more people that leave, the less people there will be in the future buying Halo and playing Halo. And if fewer people buy Halo, then the higher of a chance that it won’t survive it’s long term expected duration.
Now, look, I’m not saying I’m an expert when it comes to the longevity of a franchise. However, why would I want to come back to a community and a game that’s toxic to other players when they don’t like something, or even want something? While I do have my disagreements with users on here, I would never attack them or tell them to leave just because I don’t agree with what they say. If anything, I would argue my reasons as to why something would be good or bad to the franchise.
Just wanted to give my thoughts
