People say that Halo is turning into CoD…look at Advanced Warfare, there are so many things from Halo in there like the Ricochet game mode. Halo cant be the same carbon copy forever or it will get boring. Games need to change.

It cant turn into COD. Reach and halo 4 tried that by adding classes exp ranking etc. and the MP went bare months later and the user base dropped off a cliff.
Halo 5 is in beta…and it didnt outsell reach. Reach sold 3 million the first day, mcc sold 1 million

I disagree. Counter Strike:GO has been the same game and maintained a high population for about a decade.
I don’t know much about DOTA or League of Legends, but my understanding is that there is just ONE map that ALL games are played on, and people go crazy for it. It’s literally a carbon copy of the match before. The only ‘Change’ is strictly cosmetic.
So to get to your original thought, I disagree, YES Halo could be a carbon copy and people like myself would play it forever.
Ive played halo since Halo 1 came out and its my favorite game series. I dont want Halo to change completely but little change here and there is fine.

Games that have remained largely the same are still popular. See Battlefield, CoD, CS…
If someone wants to change every little thing about a game they enjoyed until its unrecognizable, I have to doubt that they ever truly enjoyed or understood the game to begin with.
Bottom line: 343I can chase whatever market they want to, whether that market actually exists or not. Just don’t expect me to just blindly buy their product when they do. I’m sure the Campaign will be amazing, but the Multiplayer leaves me skeptical.
