Well oni is know as a secretive group, and placing the oni logo on the phaeton to hide it kind of goes hand in hand. I’m still waiting for a legit reason why having the logo on it makes no sense when it was meant to be a surprise.
It wasn’t a prediction, per say. You could photoshop the card and you’d see a red Phaeton. Use a little common sense that they never used a placeholder icon for a REQ, and you’d save yourself from severe disappointment.
I also shared the pic around that showed it was a Phaeton. No one believed.

While i cannot confirm this i’ve heard that due to the graphic guys running out of time last week instead of spending time trying to blur the image correctly they just slapped something over the top to cover the req. Also what is well known for its “cover ups”, ONI.
They didn’t put it there to try to throw people off, it was merely to save time since last weeks update was around 2 hours late.

I believed when i saw it because I had predicted it was going to be a variant… Not of the phaeton exactly, but some vehicle variant because we’ve never received a truly new vehicle that wasn’t there at launch.

You’d think they’d give us something we’ve been asking for since Halo 4. There’s no way they haven’t heard the outcries for it. They have to be purposely avoiding adding it to this game or any Halo game for whatever reason…
