I appreciate the work you have put into Halo through the years, I’ve always have knowing to a tiny extent about what it takes to create a game that most of us wouldn’t know what to do. It takes a lot of work, but I know it’s work you enjoy doing because if you guys are anything like me that I’m sure most of you are when I work with your Forge world, I take pride in showing what I can do with what I’m able to work with and it gives me the joy to see other appreciate what I can do.
So I thank you for offering me something no other game has. A game that offers players to be creative, taking that time and being constructive.
So if and when you read about the negative things about the game, just keep in mind that not everyone feels the same way. I believe the negativity is coming more from how the game is being handled that it is out of your control that many are not happy about than the actual work being put into the game.
Most know adjustments can be made and that things can be improved.

Certainly the people working on the gameplay, coding and art direction are to be commended.
It’s the team that looked at the playlist offering, challenge system and microtransactions that should be held to account.

This is what quite a few are frustrated about, and that is more of what the negative is about on this forum.
When it comes to the skybox, artwork, etc… it’s something I’ve always enjoyed about Halo and have respect for the work the devs do to give us that enjoyment.
Did you ever get to use the forge world without buying any of the Halo games? I know I haven’t and I don’t mind spending the money just for that. Forge alone gives more content than any game that I know of when it comes to being creative.
I mean, I got a full game with a campaign, robust multiplayer options (official and custom), actual and sizeable amounts rewards I could earn by playing and Forge for $60. Now $60 gets me just the campaign and if I want more options that’s an additional $10 for the battle pass and more for the store.
Don’t get me wrong, I agree with how things have been handled because they have been handled very poorly.
I’m just looking at what I don’t have to buy and what is worth buying for me at this point. I didn’t buy the battle pass and I don’t plan on to either. It’s just not worth the headache to buy something that gives you barely anything if anything at all to show for it.
