We asked for a UNSC air veichle and we got the wasp now I know it’s no hornet or falcon. but the wasp could be just as good as the hornet or the falcon and you plays that liked to go ham and barrage the enemy team that’s not gonna work with the wasp. I for one like the wasp and I wanted a UNSC air veichle so to me I got what I wanted. But you guys that are complaining have set your standards too high 343i isn’t bungie their different so cut then some slack on this

Does anyone in this forum actually know what a re-skin is? The Wasp is a different shape then the Phaeton.

b-b-b-ut, it it has PRACTICALLY the SAME WEAPONS! hitscan bullets vs projectile? pfft. same thing. 2 rockets vs a barrage, PLEASE. the RESKIN IS OBVIOUS. SHIELDS? its practically just regenerating armor, which both have neither of, therefore its even more proof that its a reskin.

The core of it is still the same, it still kills with a slice, but it has extra abilities that makes it play different. It’s not simply a reskin, its more of a variation. The wasp, we don’t even know how it flies yet, but we know the guns consists of machine guns and 2 rockets. Machine guns are hitscan, whatever the phaeton has is not. The wasp trades armor for speed, and makes up for it with shields. The phaeton simply teleports away. They’re both going to play completely different. I wouldn’t call it a variation, since they’re both drastically different from each other. They’re simply different vehicles.

True but it’s still a different model. Reskin usually just means same model with a different paint job, st least in the halo 5 context.
Hey OP im with you. I personally dont care what air vehicle they add as long as we are getting a new UNSC aircraft. Even if it is re skinned and behaves just like a phaeton only slightly different i would still enjoy it. Regardless they would change the mechanics and it would have a different feel then the phaeton. My only hope is that its not easily destroyed. Hope its not a small aircraft that goes down easier then a phaeton. I think people should be happy when it comes to this anyway. I think there are way more important things to be upset about in regards to Halo 5.
I’m glad we finally got a UNSC flying vehicle.
My only disappointment with it is no extra seats for Machinima makers.

Let’s say the Urban Warthogs didn’t change anything, no extra armor or anything, just the new paint job. That’s a reskin. Now throw in that extra armor, that’s a variant.

No but you quoted someone asking if people knew was the term ‘reskin’ means with an example talking about how the Prophet’s Bane’s shape is different than the energy sword, but it’s still an energy sword.

you heavily implied it. you calling the prophet’s bane the same as an energy sword despite being a different shape implies the wasp is the same as the phaeton despite being a different shape. don’t pull that crap where you say that you didn’t imply anything either, because you wouldn’t have said anything if you didn’t.
The hilarious part is that people say it’s a reskinned Phaeton but that’s just a reskinned hornet.
Even though that’s not at all what reskin means.
