I’m tired of people saying they can’t play socially if its ranked! Play socially if you want. No matter what game you play, playlist you like, or style you prefer, there will always be someone down your throat about how you performed. Its multiplayer, you are suppose to want to win! I was raised to WANT to win every single game I play, whether its Halo 5, sports, or even Tick Tack Toe. I don’t know what has happened in the past couple years but NEWS FLASH----We can’t all be winners! If you want to win, work for it! If you don’t want to lose, work for it! If you want to slack off and goof around, fine. Just don’t get mad when someone doesn’t appreciate your lack of effort!
How I see the Social Players these days in the Forums:
Social Player: “Every time I play I get grouped with try-hards. I just want to play for fun!”
Me: “Play for fun, that’s fine. Just don’t cry when you lose because your not trying.”
Social Player: “But Every time I go into matchmaking they put me up against people that are always trying to win!”
Me: “Umm, don’t you want to win?”
Social Player: “Yeah, but I shouldn’t have to get all sweaty for it!”
Me: “Its a game. Most people try there best to win no matter how skilled or what rank they are.”
Social Player: “I wish it was like the Halo 3 days when there was two playlists for each!”
Me: “Soooo, it was ok to get grouped with a bunch of Lieutenants on your team and Generals on the other THEN but isn’t now?”
Social Player: “Well…NO!”
Me: “Sooooooo, you wan’t to win?”
Social Player: “Yep!”
Me: “Without trying?”
Social Player: “Yep!”
Me: “Um…its called Custom games…”
Social Player: “…”
This was my mini-rant for the day. I apologize if I upset anyone but this is how I see the world of gaming now days. In terms of skill, there are the Haves, Have Nots, and Could Have but Don’t Cares.
