hello, i am just another simple customer who has played halo since it came out for the original xbox. i feel like i have to finally speak my mind about what me and probably many other people have been pondering. usually i could care less about where the halo franchise goes because i know that it has always been amazing no matter what they do with it. however, lately this has not been the case. Halo 2 was no doubt a revolutionary multiplayer experience. halo 3 then comes out a few years later with the addition of equipment. but all in all it still kept players playing. and then reach came out with classes that had jetpacks and stuff. this is where i started wondering, “why the need to add so many unnecessary things when the original halo 2 was the best, but yet it had almost nothing except a gun, grenades, and skill?”. reach also took out the level 1-50 ranking system. i dont see what was wrong with halo 3’s way of doing it where it divided ranked games into one playlist and social into the other. that way everybody was happy. but with reach, the competitiveness just died. and now combat anniversary has come out and it still has very little reason to play competitively. not that an opinion of 1 person matters a whole lot, i post this in hopes that someone that is helping with the make halo 4 will please remember the simplicity that made halo 2 great instead of taking more of the competitive edge away from halo and adding more unnecessary things such as equipment, classes, and assassination cinematics.
Thank you for your time
