To soon for halo 4?

Any one else feel like its to soon for halo 4? I mean reach is only a yr old and by the time it’s 2 it will have lost almost all of its population to halo 4 (given that the game doesn’t bomb). In my opinion there is a reason there are huge caps between the original halo trilogy. That way every one get more then there fair share of gaming and moneys worth out of it before the next title comes out. I just think halo 4 could of waited another yr or so before coming out. Any thoughts?

I disagree. I have been waiting for Halo 4 ever since I saw the Legendary Ending of Halo 3, instead, I got Halo: Reach and was greatly disappointed. Anyway, I believe two years is a good enough gap between games.

Reach is a garbage game and it is time for some classic halo back. Even though bungie said reach would feel like ce. hahaha ya right. Bungie sucks.

I agree with Ves, fans have been expecting Halo 4 for years on end. And to tell you the truth, if Halo 4 turns out to be amazing it will surely top 14+ million buys and destroy both Halo 3 and Reach’s population to the bone. I have big expectations from 343.

This. If Reach stayed true to core Halo then i would not mind but as far as i am concerned the quicker Halo 4 come’s the better, both MP and Campaign of course.

Nah, it’s definitely not too early for Halo 4. When it releases, it will be 5 years since Halo 3, which is more than long enough to keep the players waiting for more story. Sure, Reach came out just a little over a year ago, but its multiplayer population compared to that of Halo 3 (even a month before Reach came out) is quite low. It’s safe to say that Reach wasn’t as big of a hit as Halo 3, and many players eagerly wait for a new Halo game.

In short, people want more campaign and a arguably more popular (better?) multiplayer than what we currently have.

Actually, Halo 4 has been in development for about 3 or 4 years now. I’d say that’s a long enough time to be developing a game. And Reach will have been out for more than two years by that time, and as a prequel that is enough time (considering it isn’t part of the main trilogy).

I say this trilogy of games wil be set 3 years apart from each other.

Halo 4 (360) 2012

Halo 5 (720) 2015

Halo 6 (720) 2018.

With anniversary additions of Halo 2 in 2014 and Halo 3 in 2017!

I hope so, I’d love a remastered Halo 2 by then. I am not sure about Halo 3 though.

Yes, they already said that they were going to stick to the three year development period for future Halo games of the new trilogy.

Also, I don’t think they’ll be making an anniversary edition of Halo 3, since we can already play that in HD and it probably wouldn’t sell much anyway.

why would they remake halo 3 when it already has good graphics ?

Because Halo 3 is the best Halo game of all time! (IMO) Halo 2 was good as well. plus remember that Halo 2,3 anniversary will lanuch on the 720 not the 360!

We can’t go into an endless loop of remaking every Halo game when a new console comes out… That would just be silly.

The development time of a game is around 3 years, but in recent years that development time has started to drop to a 2 year development time for games.

Actually this game has been in the making for six years

same, i was like omg!!!1 a new halo gaem iz coming outt soon!!! then halo wars came out, i was satisfied with it though, then another halo game was announced and i was like z0mg!!!1 givez me moar haloz!!! then odst came out, then i got tired, then another halo game was announced and i was all liek omg111111 this bettar be a gooood halo gaem!!! reach came out and i was like… 0_o

Not that Halo Wars or ODST was a bad game and all, but i was waiting for a Halo game that continued after what happened to chief.

Reach was like a cut-out part of the storyline, where it cut-off from the actual Halo one with Master Chief. 343i have been working on Halo 4 for just over 2 years, and by the time it is out, it would have been under development for about 3 years. All of the Master Cheif storylined games have a 3 year gap between them. Same with Halo 4, 3 years gap, and the sooner it comes out, the better! I really can’t wait, Halo will revolutionize gaming again, just like it did over 10 years ago!!

> Bungie sucks.

Yes, because of one game they’re now horrible.

/sarcasm

I totally love Reach but i’m also more than ready for Halo 4.
Its time for 343 Industries to shine…

Reach was too soon, not halo 4. it will be five years since halo 3 so its been a long wait. Reach was a speed bump.
