To play halo infinite online i will need xbox game gold on console?
No! Xbox announced that free to play multiplayer games (aka halo infinite) will not need to purchase a subscription to Xbox Live Gold
You need Xbox Live Gold to use any game’s online multiplayer features like PvP or online co-op. Seems like the F2P stuff won’t require Gold anymore, but I’m not sure if the same thing applies to online co-op since the campaign is not free.
However, Halo 5 also required Gold to play Forge and Custom games. As far as I know, there has been no mention about whether Infinite will pull the same anti-consumer move.
