Don’t worry if your copy didn’t ship out yet guys.
I’ve ordered so many items on amazon (including Pre-Ordered BF3 and MW3) They will ship it out, and if you chosed a shipping option that said you will get it on release date, you will get it on release date.
I’m a Prime Member(I’m supposed to get free Release Date shipping, but don’t see the option yet (it usually shows up about 3 days before release, according to an Amazon representative))
Either way, I chosed the next day shipping, which still shows a delivery estimate on the 6th.
So If your copy didn’t ship yet, don’t worry, they can still ship it out monday afternoon and you will get it tuesday morning. (Which is what happened when I ordered BF3, they shipped it out of somewhere in Tennessee around 6PM before release date, UPS arrived at my school at around 10AM on release date)
On Halo 3 ODST and Halo Reach, I wasn’t able to pre order until the day before they released. I ordered before 6:00 PM or whatever the final time for next day shipping is, chose release day shipping, and got it the next day. If you have had an order for weeks or months, it should be fine.
MasterLawnmower is right. Amazon shipped my copy of Resident Evil 6 the day before it was meant to be released, and it arrived around 10:30 the next morning, so hopefully you should get your copies on time!

Yea, when I first pre-ordered it said two day shipping was release date shipping, now it doesn’t say that anymore.
One day shipping showed up Yesterday I think, I’m only paying 3.99 for that one day shipping because I don’t want to risk choosing two day shipping

You are a Prime member right? They told me it would become a release date shipping 3 days before release.
Alright, I just got done chatting with “Pam” from Amazon
I asked about the newly added 1-day shipping method, and whether it would affect my delivery date.
I am using 2-day shipping with Amazon Student/Prime. It is free for me. The expected delivery date is November 6th, release day.
Originally, this was the quickest option. I guess either this morning or yesterday they added another shipping method: 1-day shipping. This is $4 for me. I asked whether this meant that the delivery date would change in my 2-day method, and she said no.
So, according to Pam from Amazon, if your expected delivery date is November 6th, and you’re using a 2-day shipping method, you should still get it on Tuesday, regardless of the new 1-day shipping method. I’m think that the 1-day method was inserted recently so that new orders could be placed as late as Monday and still receive it on Tuesday.
So MasterLawnmower, if you would rather save $4, I’d switch back to the 2-day shipping. I highly doubt that it would change anything.

You’re basically confirming what I said directly above you.
The 2-day shipping is actually release-day shipping. The option of 1-day was probably added late (recently) to allow people who order on Sunday or Monday to still get it on Tuesday, whereas our orders would already be processed by then.

So you changed it from 1-day to 2-day? I figure that since I never changed mine to 1-day, it will still get here like they promised. But since you changed it and then changed it back, it’s now the 8th.
