I been playing ranked for the past couple days and I haven’t gotten then mad at a halo in years. The second you try to get into a gunfight you have to dodge the enemys 4 grenades. All is im saying is the grenades damage needs to be nerfed or we shouldn’t spawn with them.

I said this during Beta and First week of launch… we don’t need to start with grenades… there are plenty on the map, and most maps turn into just "grenade spam’ once you find enemies.
The grenades do fine on damage, except maybe the spike, it’s just the fact there are way too many grenades from everyone spawning with 2 and picking up so many around the map.
Remove spawn with grenades and the game flow will change in a positive way.

Ranked should be limited to one grenade on spawn, and the grenade spawns should be longer. It does turn into a nade fest some matches, because they are little mini-nukes. Not as bad as reach.

Soon as the game starts just head in a different direction Compton any one else. Most players tend to throw their grenades straight ahead blindly.

Yes, it needs to be toned down. One grenade is fine, I feel like one is needed in order to flush out or even push an enemy.
The amount of grenades is fine. God if you player Halo 2, 3 or Reach XD 8 grenades on those. The problem is no friendly fire. If that was the case, people would have to be more careful with explosives. I never have a grenade problem in ranked for example.
Could definitely see the amount of team killing being an issue if enabled. But I can understand what your saying as well.
If friendly fire was on grenade spam would be a lot less of an issue. People would have to play more intelligently. The problem is that most of the community probably couldn’t handle that level of play…
Been a halo player all my life. I will admit grenades were spammed in the older games aswell but to me it never felt like people were as bad as they are now. Only halos I know little to nothing about is 4 and 5 because their multilayer were garbage.
