I’ve seen this in a lot of the threads, I’ve gone into, whether it’d be threads about loadouts or what playstyle your going to be bending towards. A lot of people I see are just going to not have an AA, Tac or support package. Though, I’m really intrigued to see just how much of a matchup a person has when going up against someone with AA as opposed to someone without an AA, and just see how it plays out? I can say if your a straight up beast with the BR or DMR, you may not even need an AA but the none option that is in the loadouts now really gives people the option of just going bare like Halo 3. This will change up gameplay greatly, I can imagine. What are you guys thoughts on this? Do ya’ll think it’ll be a disadvantage to not have an AA when fighting an opponent that does have one or will it just cancel eachother out and be more skill-based?
Like, if you ran into Reach with a broken left bumper, you’d do fine.
I’m guessing it will be the same; they will not be able to see through walls or be invisible, but so long as they can aim and shoot they’ll win.
well and that would be a good thing in my opinion. you have one side of the community who dislikes AA’s and the other likes them so I think its fair that you have the option to use them.

That’s what I’m thinking also. The AA’s are more balanced then Reach so, I’m thinking, it’ll just cancel eachother out.

I would say yes you would be able to go in it without a armor ability and still do well. AAs no longer hold the player back like they did in reach.
I think it would be wise to use AA’s in certain situations. But if all works well, I doubt they’ll be penalized much.

Even so:
Sprint only helped you get across the map (if you were really good, you wouldn’t have to run away)
Evade is just overpowered and can be countered quite well
Drop Shield barely exists
Armor Lock rarely helps the user besides trolling/rocket blocks etc…
Camo is unnecessary for most fights
Hologram is beast, but can be done without
Jetpack is unneeded as well
I wan an Unrelenting force AA.
FUS ROH DAH!!!
There’s actually an option that lets you go in a game without an ability?
That’s awesome.
