Most of the people in this forum have never played halo 2 and 3 in their primes. Nothing but reach kids on here who have no idea what those games were like for comp gaming ,so they automatically shun everything in them. You are wasting time trying to reason with them.

Halo 3 is amazing. My childhood! Reach is good but definitely doesnt give me happy memories like Halo 3. Probably just because im being a Nostalgia Freak.
Halo 3 and 2 players may get deluded from Nostalgia but I’d say 2 and 3 are better than Reach.

i was a big fan of halo 2 and 3. I may not have ever played halo 2 online, but i have played so much 4 player splitscreen of it with my cousins (i was like 11) it was my childhood. halo 3 was all i played for 3 years. Splitscreen and occasional online, forge.
As much as i loved those games, it doesnt mean i dont like halo 4 (if thats what your going at). it seems like it going to be what halo reach shouldve been, plus the story seems like its gonna be good like the originals. if your trying to talk about a skill based ranking system. i agree with you. if your talking about the changes though, ill be honest i dont mind them, and at least there will be a classic playlist (which i will play a good amount of)

How are you treated here? I only hope people are welcoming to everyone.
That being said, it is definitely true there are a lot of people who don’t like the changes and additions they see in Halo 4. There is an equal number of people that do like the changes. That is only natural. If you’re wondering why people might sometimes be cynical to others with a different opinion, you might only have to look at your first post in this thread. Why make such generalizations and call everyone else wrong because of something you might not like?
What I’m saying is, people judge you based on how you make your point. The way you’re doing it, is not the way.

I have no problem with 2’s they knew they ruled the Xbox and are seldom on any forums bashing Reach or Halo 4. All they want it seems is for the Halo 2 servers to be turned back on. While certain 3’s have made Halo 3 pretty much a pariah for anyone looking forward to Halo 4.
