to give more information about the game

for at this point you should already give more information about halo infinite or a new trailer

I’d be agreeing with you completely about this if it weren’t for the fact that the entire studio is currently working from home. It was hard enough trying to roll out MCC on PC, a TV show, and Infinite when they had their full set up at the office. Now add a quarantine to that challenge.

Rumor has it that Microsoft will be having two digital events, one on May 5th and one on E3 week (a replacement for it’s cancellation). Apparently, the 5th will be the proper console launch event and the E3 stream will be the games-oriented show, but according to the person who said this (apparently credible, but I can’t guarantee any of this, none of this is proven) the May 5th stream will feature a few games with the XSX launch showcase and Infinite was one of the mentioned. This is when they might show either the campaign or the multiplayer off (it might be one in May then one in June, I bet the campaign will be shown first), and this might be when the marketing begins.

But granted, this is a “rumor” so nobody has any clue how true any of this is.

Well keep in mind, the last time 343 Industries went overboard with news prior to the launch of a major title, alot lf fans weren’t as happy as they anticipated them to be. They’re likely trying to keep it from blowing up in their face again. Plus remember Covid-19 is still a topic at large, they’re forced to work from home now.

Not really.
If you look back at most of the Halo games and their press release schedule, there would be a teaser trailer at E3 the year prior to the release of the game.
Then the main trailer would drop at E3 the same year as release, with bits of info coming out between then and the end of the year when the game drops.
Technically speaking we’ve had 2 trailers so far, which is more than Halo 3, Halo Reach, and Halo 4 had at this point before launch.
