To everyone worried about not getting mark vi

You need to press start, go up to career, select commendations, go to player and then go to campaign, once selected check to see that you have everything legendry level complete commendation and the overall legend commendation, because this what earns you the mark vi, legendary visor and 117 emblem not the achievements for completing it on legendary

Yes and that the halo 4 servers aren’t down because otherwise you won’t unlock the commendations to get the armor

All levels needed to be completed online to receive the commendation and the armor

I really dislike how 343 changed the rest of the armor except the helmet… how is this the classic armor if they’ve changed it?

I am thinking about completing it solo on legendary soon. How hard is it?

Its challenging in some areas but a majority of it is based on staying back and picking them off and use a range of combos such as boltshot and rifle combo for the knights when up close, but when in doubt always try even in the hardest of situations and always go for headshots on grunts, jackals and crawlers to conserve ammo

I beat Legendary once, why should I have to redo it just because of some crappy glitchy system that can’t register game data properly? I’ve rage quit Halo 4 until they patch it and unlock my Mark VI. Black Ops 2 in a few days anyway so zombies will be my main interest.

I’m guessing you beat it day one with all the server issues which is why you didn’t earn you mark vi because you couldn’t unlock the commendations?

Yup, I’ve been posting on the forums none stop trying to make the devs aware, this is a terrible bug and a complete disgrace not to mention unfair

This as well is very true, I went through legendary solo to get my back on my friends who completed reach legendary solo before me, now I have the bragging rights haha, but in all serious though through out the hardest of parts it was a really fun challenge even though I still hate knights, snipers and wraiths with a deadly passion now

Yeah its pretty hard, I’m stuck on the 5 mission.

thank you for clearing that up. I’ve been trying to make sure that after my buddy and I complete a level we get that commendation pop up saying we completed each that commendation for the level.
