To everyone who uses logic...

Remember when the whole forum was spammed with “I hate sprint” posts? Everyone that was Pro- Sprint constently used “ADAPT” like they were a 3 year old. but some people brought up a good point, that point is “you are a super soldier , why shouldn’t you be able to run?”

That is a very good point, and a very logical statement, but it is not why I am typing this.

I want to start a new debate, one about Dual Wielding.

To be honest, I don’t really care if it is in or not, but can someone please give me a logical answer as to why a super soldier that is able to sprint cannot hold 2 weapons at the same time?

Someone please answer this, I want to see you all try and answer this.

EDIT: it seems that you are all missunderstanding me, im asking why you can’t dual wield even though you are a super soldier that can sprint.

i’m not talking about balance or any of that stuff im talking about the spartans!

…anyone?

Balance > Realism

frankie already said it was out. I suspect they didnt want to reconfigure controller layouts on top of everything else.

How come everyone else on Noble team could use multiple AA but you couldnt ?

Makes balancing the weapons much more difficult. Probably viewed as a waste of development time. Feature not included. Bam, logic’d.

> Balance > Realism

Because one day Master Chief woke up from cryo sleep and decided that only -Yoink- dual wield, thus no dual wielding in Halo 4.

Well, he can’t swim either, nor climb. Let alone holster a gun and clap his hands. So let’s just say it’s a video game.

Canonically, S117 can still hold two weapons at once. I think that they decided to cut dual wielding in game play to make it simpler (Bungie did the same in Reach to make way for AAs).

The cheif has been in cryo sleep for a pretty long time. Sprint is added cause technicly anyone can run in real life, without being a grabable ability it makes even more sence. Dual wealding however is difficult after cryo sleep because bone and muscle haven’t been moble for 5 years. But after time he should be able to dual weild again. Mabye in halo 5 with the new console and mabye more buttons:). That my solution, if you have questions about my theory tell me.

> Balance > Realism

Which is why I don’t see the reason to add AA’s and sprint into Halo 4. But what can you do?

Dual-Wielding is really next to irrelevant in terms of Canon, so I’d guess it’s been looked at purely from a gameplay perspective, and rightly so. There’s no real reason to endeavour to bring it back in that sense either. It just makes the balancing more complicated, and it was hardly popular in Halo 3.

> Well, he can’t swim either, nor climb. Let alone holster a gun and clap his hands. So let’s just say it’s a video game.

WRONG! He can’t swim or climb because his armor is too damn heavy. He has no visible holes on his armor other than the knife holster on his leg.

As for clapping his hands. I’m pretty sure he’d break them if he did.

Also. Don’t take this seriously.
