To everyone complaining

So, many halo fans are very unhappy with the way the series is going. This is not okay. People are bashing things they know not much about, and they’re acting like one difference between a newer game and an older game is the end of the world. People aren’t realizing that real human beings make these games, and words can hurt. It’s okay to give actual criticism, but saying things like “343 cAn’T Do aNYtHiNg rIghT” is not cool. They’re trying their best to please fans while being able to make profits, something you NEED to run a company. Look, all I’m trying to say is speak about 343 like how you’d speak about yourself.

The reaction is due to fans not being given the same respect you’re asking for them to give to 343 - specifically, to the decision makers. This is obviously a decision made for the purpose of monetisation, and therefore, we’re being viewed as consumers, not as human beings. It’s a two-way street. Given this, the criticism is absolutely warranted, but should be directed at the right people.

I respect your opinion, but I don’t agree. 343 has shown time and time again that they do not consider classic fans a high priority. (MCC development is going great BTW) A classic point I have on my side is how I have been fighting along side brave warriors for nearly a decade trying to get playable Elites back, and not a peep other than thay know. Even though admittedly we are a minority opinion, we have been largely ignored for a long time. I would like to know, or hear from them that they either are considering our opinions on this, or don’t want to add it in. But lately the fact that we haven’t seen or heard anything has a hand in confirming my fears.

Also, I wouldn’t dare to insult anyone who prefers 343’s style of games just so everyone knows. I have my input and I have my suggestions, but I don’t consider them higher order over anyone else’s. My biggest concern is that even though there are a lot of diverse opinions in this community, that they still remember what made the game good 20 years ago.

343 can and has done a lot of things right. The decision to replace basic color options with preset color pallets however, is very very far from being one of those things; it throws out what is essentially one of the very few things that has consistently been in every single halo game and has been the center of player expression since halo ce. If it was by popular fan request to change it or if for some reason there was a technical issue in the way of the typical color system then it’d be excusable but this is clearly suppose to serve the purpose of collecting extra cash via promotional items and frankly there are way better, more consumer friendly ways to do that that don’t involve removing colors.

Complaining about complainers is oxymoronic.
