Temporal Anti-Aliasing. If you’ve ever noticed grainy breakup in modern games, this is a temporal artifact from fast camera movement in games with temporal features like TAA. Basically it collects data over time to reduce the appearance of jagged edges. Unfortunately it can also make things blurry in motion and introduce “fizzle” or graininess into the image in the majority of applications.

I completely agree. I’d much rather have clear jaggies over a blurry mess.
