Is going to be one of the 3 maps already shown, correct?
There is a thread over on B.net that suggest otherwise. If I understand your annoucement correctly you just haven’t figured out which map to demo. right???

I believe its a new map, because they already mentioned the Defiant Map Pack before mentioning “The Map”. Also they talk about the map as a vague reference…
But I doubt 343 will reveal any more, they already revealed more than Bungie ever would.
They leaked their own Defiant map pack beforehand.
I would love that to be true. I just can’t seem to get that from the article though

Thank You, for a clear and direct answer. It is much appreciated. I am sorry to say I won’t be able to attend. If I were though I would totally want to play Highlands. That map looks amazing!! Have fun showing Defiant off at the show!!

Wow, you guys deliver. If i had my choice, Unearthed looked amazing. I’d love to see a few firefight games.

I was going to pick Unearthed, too. I am just very excited about these maps. More so than for Noble for some reason though I love those too. Breakpoint is becoming a favorite.
We would like the next map pack to be a level like New Alexandria, and above you see several CARRIERS.

If you look at the post by BS Angel again it has been changed. The Map was just the map they have yet to decide to showcase at ECCC.
Since someone from 343 is looking at this thread. I just figured I’d throw this out their. If you guys are in charge or making the next map pack please make it a 4-7 pack. I’m sure everyone would be ok to shell out a few more bucks to get maps that they can actually play for more than a day or two. Noble Map Pack had 3 maps and they were all overplayed after a few hours. How do you think 2 maps will fare in matchmaking? I think the new maps look wonderful but we need a lot of maps for this game. I feel as though I play on 3-5 maps no matter what playlist I’m playing on. And I know I’m not the only one that thinks this but most of Reach’s maps are terrible compared to earlier Halo games.
Headlong remake (if anyone but Bungie is allowed to do that) or new Forgeworld (snow or sand) wouldn’t be to shabby either. =)
