I just want to put something out there. I in no way dislike 343 Industries. I think they are a great group of people who are putting my favorite game series in an interesting direction. Even though I do not exactly agree with some of the changes they have made to the series, I still play because it is Halo, a game that I have played since the first and a game that has brought me out of some tough situations; mentally and physically.
I am personally glad that the series is continuing and that the Universe is expanding because I truly do not want it to end.

Continuing the series isn’t an inherently good thing. Personally, I would rather see the series come to an end altogether than continue to be changed and twisted into something it’s not. It’s beyond apparent that 343 is not interested in making games that play like original Halo. So, in my opinion, they should either make the games that they want to make but without putting the “Halo” title on them, or they should just stop altogether.
Halo 5 has some great gameplay if we’re not judging it as a part of the Halo franchise. The problem is that it IS a part of the Halo franchise and so it must be judged accordingly.

I agree. 343 can’t make Halo games the way they should be and should try something else, like spin offs or something.
Would you be happy if they just released the same game year after year and just updated the graphics? Games have to change. Halo is about more than the multiplayer. The story is a huge party of the games as well.
I personally feel that halo 5’s multiplayer is top notch. I played all the other games back in the day. I still like them but I really like halo 5. It’s not perfect and it never will be. This is 343’s second game and I think it’s a vast improvement over halo 4’s multiplayer.
Good on you 343.

Yes, yes I would be happy if the same game got released year after year with updated graphics. Just look at ODST. People LOVED ODST and it was a slightly modified version of Halo 3’s engine. Look at Halo 3 as well. The differences from Halo 2 to 3 were very minimal when compared to every other Halo sequel, yet Halo 3 gets touted as the pinnacle of the series.
So, to answer your question, I would be very happy if the same game got released year after year(as long as that game that’s getting re-released is one of the first 3 Halo games. I wouldn’t like it if Halo 5 got released again).
