What do you guys think about this? All my hatred for 343 aside, I might actually buy H5 of there was no sprint and no ground Pound. I realize these are going to be in the game regardless, but I’m just curious as to how many potential sales they are losing by putting these elements into the game.
Was ground pound really that problematic? I got killed by it maybe once in the entire duration of the beta + early access. I think shoulder bash was more of a problem, but nothing to swear off the game entirely about.

Could be any number of reasons.
Not buying until bargain bin.
Should have had an “everything that wasn’t in Halo 2” option. Probably would have gotten some more bites.

I’ll be buying H5 regardless if I like it or not. It’s halo, so I have to. But I voted anyway to see where the votes were. I’m surprised (kind of) that GP is as big of a problem as sprint. I thought I was gonna hate it in he beta, but I didn’t see enough people using it for it to bother me. Sprint on the other hand…I’ll save the reasons why, but out of all the new Spartan abilities, sprint is the only one that still bugs me. The others may be game changing, but I can live with them.
Sprint but I always planned to take the wait and see approach anyway, you know, cuz of the MCC.
Good idea, wrong direction. 343 shouldn’t REMOVE features, that forces a game to move backwards. They need to retain current features and add innovative sandbox features (like AIs in forge).
As much as I despise sprint and ground pound makes me scratch my head, I can get past those. But what turns me off is the severe lack of content, even 2006 games would still live up to the 60$ price tag more than Halo 5. Hell, even Morrowind had more content.

Go to any other FPS, they all have sprint and they all have their own and unique “ground pound”. Meaning that they have a mechanic that hasn’t been in or rarely in FPS. Example is Titanfall’s wall hang and wall running

First: this isn’t a store.
Second: one may walk into a store to see what the store has to sell. There is no law or rule against this. In the case of the Halo 5 forums - it’s sod all.
Third: I don’t believe buying Halo 5 is a prerequisite to talking about Halo 5. Unless you want to, you know, censor unpopular opinions. That ALWAYS works well.
